Norah JonesWednesday, August 15 6:30 p.m.

$39-$60 plus service fees

Norah Jones first emerged on the world stage 10 years ago with the release of Come Away With Me, that introduced a singular new voice with the hit single “Don’t Know Why“. She grew into a global phenomenon, sweeping the 2003 Grammy Awards.

With Little Broken Hearts, her new collaboration with Danger Mouse, Norah Jones has expanded her sound in characteristically subtle ways — with 12 darkly luminous songs, each an exploration of emotions from various perspectives that invariably leads to a place of beauty and uplift. Don’t miss a chance to see Norah Jones in Bend!

Cory Chisel and the Wandering SonsCory Chisel and The Wandering Sons is an Americana, folk rock band. Their new album, Old Believers, was recorded in Nashville and produced by Brendan Benson (The Raconteurs). The songs are full of rich, authentic, rock and roll, drawing a straight line between the gospel and blues of Cory’s youth in Wisconsin, and classic rock.

introspective lyrics to their alt-country, blues and roots rock music. says it will be a bit of a sonic departure from previous Spearhead efforts. “This album is a lot harder and more aggressive,” Franti told Rolling Stone. “There are some songs that are just acoustic guitar and nothing else, but the ones that aren’t like that are louder and at times more punk rock, with dance beats to them.” While the band hasn’t decided on an album title yet, Franti said it will arrive

sometime in the fall, with a lead single dropping this summer.

This year’s Old Mill District pints are limited edition Silipints of the four elements. Our Air design is a winter’s paradise; Earth is a fun summer scene, Fire, the tempestuous Cascade Range and Water, our beautiful lakes and rivers.

This year four restaurants in the Old Mill District: Anthony’s, Greg’s Grill, Hola! and Red Robin will be offering a specialty cocktail or ice cream shake in these commemorative cups. Buy the drink and keep the Silipint!

Unbreakable, Silipints insulate hot and cold drinks and can be used again and again. Going camping, riding the Cycle Pub, tailgating before the game or attending a “bring your own cup” party, you’ll be the one with the cool cup to covet.

Shoppers and concert-goers can create a collection by redeeming receipts to receive a free Silipint. Visitors can bring a Les Schwab Amphitheater concert ticket from 2012, along with $100 in receipts from any Old Mill District shop, restaurant, gallery or cinema to qualify. Didn’t make it to a concert? A cool free Silipint can still be yours by bringing combined receipts (dated May 15, 2012) of $150 or more to the Ticket Mill and Central Oregon Visitors Association.

Silipints and posters ($10 each) are also available for purchase at Visit Bend, COVA and the Ticket Mill. A set of four Silipints is $38.

A Growing List of Breweries and Summer BeersEvery year, there are more and more breweries to add to our burgeoning beer culture in Central Oregon! Enjoy a craft beer while gazing out upon the sun-kissed Cascade Mountains and the unmatched beauty of Oregon’s high

desert. We promise you won’t go thirsty in these parts.

10 Barrel Brewing P!l" n#r: This easy-drinking ale has been influenced by a lager mentality. Like a lager, it is refreshing but also holds the fruity and pronounced hop presence of an ale. The base pilsner malt is married with NW-style hops.

Ale Apothecary S!h!$i%:Sahalie is brewed, conditioned and dry-hopped in oak barrels. Mixed fermentation and

a secret ingredient add complexity; bottle-conditioning produces tiny, natural, CO2 bubbles that just might make champagne blush.

Below Grade Brewing V!$id!&i'(:This Imperial IPA has a light copper color, six different malts and three varieties of hops, resulting in complex layers of flavor and intense hop character.

Bend Brewing Company Lu)wig P*$+n#r: This authentic German lager is crisp with a spicy

character, very light, fresh and perfect for the summer.

Boneyard Beer Di!,l- R.j-:This reddish-amber-colored beer has a smooth balance of malt and hops, ensuring it goes down just right in the summer sunshine.

Brew Werks Brewing CompanyN#/r0 1 2 Bl'nd%: A blonde ale, offering a light taste with a full, rich flavor — perfect for those who want the beer experience without the bite.

Cascade Lakes Brewing Co. Bl'nd% B.34567$8: Brewed to be a light-bodied, refreshing ale, Blonde Bombshell combines subtle malt and wheat flavors with a delicate Liberty hop aroma to create a sensational beer.

Crux Fermentation Project: This brand new brewery’s very first beers will appear

sometime this summer. From decoction mashing, open fermentation, barrel aging, crazy yeast varieties, and the use of experimental hops, Crux promises to deliver great beer.

Deschutes Brewery Tw*$ig69 Al%: Bend’s oldest brewery brings back a seasonal favorite with the lighter, yet full-flavored, aromatic Twilight Ale for the long days of summer. Twilight’s solid malt foundation pairs with distinctive Amarillo hops.

Good Life Brewing Sw:; As: A summer beer brewed with 100 percent New Zealand hops, we think it’s as sweet as its name.

McMenamin’s C'< #r M='(: The malted barley used in every batch of Copper Moon is organically grown and malted. The outcome is a smooth, flavorful summer

pale ale.

Phat Matt’s Brewing Company K>$sc?: A clean, crisp and delicately balanced kolsch with a clear,

bright straw-colored hue. With a subdued

maltiness, low bitterness and a soft rounded palate, this light-bodied beer offers a delicate dryness that has very little aftertaste, yet finishes with a refreshing punch.

Silver Moon Brewing H'/n@ s T=0 ? A34#r: This is the b r e w e r y ’ s flagship ale made with 100 percent whole-flower hops. Worth including in a summer beer round-up, this rich, caramel-style amber with full hop flavor and aroma is sure to delight.

Solstice Brewing Company: This new Prineville brewery plans an imperial IPA, IPA, honey wheat and a brown ale by summer.

Sunriver Brewing Company: This soon-to-open Sunriver brewery plans a stout, IPA, amber and a pale ale to kick off their grand opening scheduled for early summer.
