Olive Tree Chocolate is a family-run business in the heart of

Moray, North East Scotland.

We have been making chocolate since October 2003, starting

the business literally at the kitchen table. The business has

moved from strength to strength and now has its own shop on

Elgin High Street.

Launched in 2009, our exciting new Chocolate Parties give you

the opportunity to enjoy our chocolate in the relaxed setting of

your own home.

All the chocolate is made by hand using only the highest quality

ingredients, including the finest quality Belgian chocolate.

The chocolate we use is naturally gluten free and has no

artificial additives or preservatives. In addition, we have a milk

free range for people with lactose intolerance or milk allergies.

We hope you enjoy our chocolate.

Here at Olive Tree Chocolate, we use only the finest

ingredients and the purest Belgian chocolate to

make all of our products.

We make an extensive range of moulded

chocolates in-house for you to choose from. They range from fruit

flavoured fondant centres through a range of nuts and caramel

fillings, and it wouldn’t be Scotland without a few alcohol

flavoured truffle centres. These chocolates contain cream and

so have a limited shelf life of up to 10 weeks. Please bear this in

mind when ordering for presents.

Devotee Chocolate Range

Single origin chocolate is extra special. Although it is still processed

in Belgium, the cocoa beans are grown in only one country, giving

each chocolate a unique flavour. We also have some very

special chocolate in this range including Arriba and Ebony which

are special blends - Ebony is our darkest chocolate at 96%.

Devotee Chocolate is available as 100g bars, or as a mixed

bag of 5g taster bars. Each taster bar is colour coded, and

the mixed bag comes with a key, so you know what you are

getting!

Tasting Notes Java 33% - A milk

chocolate which has a

pale and reddish colour,

typical of the Java

cocoa beans. What a

taste sensation!

Papouasie 35% - A milk

chocolate with 35%

cocoa. It is a beautiful

copper colour and the

flavour of its cocoa is

slightly spicy.

Arriba 39% - A milk

chocolate which surprises

with its intense cocoa

body - unmistakably

Arriba - and fruity fla-

vours. The taste is very

well-rounded with plenty

of creaminess and milk.

Ghana 40% - A bold and

distinctive milk chocolate

with 40% cocoa exudes

the aroma of hazelnuts

and a note of caramel is

revealed in its tasting.

Venezuela 43% - One of

our favourites. A rich and

creamy milk chocolate

that is full of flavour rather

than sweet.

Madagascar 66% - A dark

chocolate, Madagascar

is a typically pale dark

chocolate. It surprises

with a supremely delicate

yet powerful taste

Mexique 66% - A

chocolate with a

bittersweet and

exquisitely delicate taste

and a hint of liquorice.

Saint Domingue 70% - A

dark chocolate

possessing an

exceptionally long finish,

producing a dark

chocolate with a very

pronounced cocoa taste

and wine-like notes

Cuba 70% - From Trinitario

beans, this 70% cocoa

has a good balance

between bitterness,

fullness, a spicy taste and

freshness. Cuba provides

pepper and tobacco

flavours.

Ecuador 70.1% - A dark

chocolate with a very

high cocoa content, but

its mildness leaves plenty

of space for a host of

fruitiness and expressive

aromas!

Venezuela 72% - A

chocolate. Both tangy

and fruity with a hint of

bitterness it is a chocolate

of a rare and unique

quality.

Tanzanie 75% - A combi-

nation of Criollo and

Forestero beans, this 75%

cocoa is a very fluid dark

couverture with fruity

flavours and high cocoa

content. A powerful and

sharp chocolate with

fruity and spicy notes.

Equateur 78% - A

powerful plain chocolate,

full of fruit flavours, and

complemented by a

hazelnut note.

Kumabo 80.1% - The first

nose - impressions we get

are overwhelmingly a

high dose of powerful

cocoa, woodland earth,

spices, ginseng and

angelica.

Ebony 96% - Stunningly

dark without being bitter.

This is a strong chocolate

that is without any sugar,

soya or milk content.
