The Silversea experience is for those who expect the best; on board you discover a lifestyle that is highly personal and utterly carefree. The extraordinary experience includes intimate, ultra-luxury ships with only 100 to 540 guests. All suites have an ocean view, and butler service; 85% of which have private verandas, a choice of open-seating and specialty restaurants, an extraordinary service ratio of nearly one-to-one, complimentary beverages served throughout the ship, in-suite bar stocked with your preferred beverages, cuisine by Relais & Châteaux, an exclusive culinary partnership with Slow Food, in-suite dining and 24-hour room service. Tipping is neither required nor expected – service is simply to delight you.

The smaller size of the Silversea vessels allows access to less-travelled regions and smaller ports. The ships can easily navigate through tiny islands, sail close to the coastline or move along narrow waterways into the heart of a city.

Silversea’s purpose-built Silver Explorer expedition cruise ship has been designed specifically for navigating waters in some of the world’s most remote destinations, including both of Earth’s polar regions.

For 25 years, Quark Expeditions® passengers have explored the last untouched and most pristine Antarctic and Arctic destinations on the planet, where wildlife interactions abound and the landscape never fails to astonish and captivate.

Quark operates much smaller, more nimble “adventure ships”, and adventure is exactly what they deliver. Its guests are discerning, curious adventurers from all over the world, who appreciate exceptional quality and value travel above the ordinary. With a diverse fleet of specially equipped vessels, unique land-based adventures and seasoned Expedition Leaders, Quark offers travellers unparalleled access to the most remote regions on earth: the Polar Regions.

With Quark, there’s no such thing as an average day and every voyage includes great daily outdoor activities. Glide among colossal icebergs on a kayak, camp under polar stars, climb the White Continent or trek the glaciated landscapes. Hearty meals, wildlife sightings, breathtaking vistas, stimulating activities and informative lectures will exceed your expectations day and night.
