On 23th May 2016, the agreement of

China-Oman(Duqm) Industrial Park was signed .

On 23th May 2016 ,The Sultanate and China announced the establishment of China-Oman Industrial Park in Duqm with a

total future investment of approximate US$10.7billion.

H.E. Yahya bin Said AI Jabri, Chairman of the Special Economic Zone Authority in Duqm(SEZAD) and Ali Shah, Chairman

of Oman Wanfang LLC, the major investor in the project, signed the agreement.

The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Wang Yong, State Councilor of China, H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed AI-

Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Homoud AI-Busaidi, Secretary General of

the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

China-Oman (Duqm) Industrial Park is a new milestone in the communication and cooperation between China and Oman.

It is located in the Special Economic Zone in Duqm, covering a total area of 11.72 square kilometers.

This Industrial Park shall take shape after 5 years construction, all internal and external construction shall be completed

within 50 years.

This Industrial Park shall be developed and operated by Oman Wanfang LLC. Oil refining, light & heavy industries, logistics,

warehousing and other multipurpose functions shall be developed and turned to operation.

A major initial investment was started on 19th May 2017 with the laying of the foundation stone for the

China-Oman(Duqm) Industrial Park and signing of Ten agreements.

The ceremony was held under the testimony of H.H. Sayyid Taimour Bin Asa’ad Al Said, H.E. Yahya

Bin Said Al Jabri Chairman of Special Economic Zone Authority in Duqm ，Vice-Governor of China’s

Ningxia Province and Chinese Ambassador.

Ten agreements were signed between Oman Wanfang LLC and ten Chinese Companies to implement $3.2 billion worth of projects in the China-Oman(Duqm) Industrial Park .
