AGE RESTRICTIONS Our classes are designed for adults, but we welcome responsible, motivated youth with prior approval. Participants in 10-week, 1-day, and weekend classes must be 10 years old for flameworking and 14 for glassblowing. Parents are encouraged to register with their children, and are required to enroll in classes attended by children ages 10–14. Students as young as 17 may participate in one-week and two-week courses. Please contact the [email protected] for permission to register students under the age of 18.

ONE-DAY WORKSHOPSSPRING 2020One-day workshops provide a fun experience in a variety of glassmaking techniques.

• Tuition is $140 per workshop, which includes supplies.

• Each class meets from 9 am–4 pm.

ONE-WEEK COURSESSPRING 2020Spring one-week courses provide a comprehensive glassmaking experience.

• Tuition is $875 per course, which includes supplies.

• Courses take place from 9 am–5 pm.

TEN-WEEK SESSIONSSPRING 2020Ten-week courses allow students of all skill levels to explore glassmaking.

• Tuition is $525 per course, which includes supplies.

• Classes meet once per week from 7–10 pm.

• Classes begin the week of March 2, 2020.

GLASSFEST WORKSHOPSMAY 22–24, 2020Special three-day workshops taking place during Corning, NY Glassfest (glassfest.org).

• Tuition is $420 per workshop, which includes supplies.

• Classes meet Friday–Sunday from 9 am–4 pm.

WEEKEND WORKSHOPSSPRING 2020Weekend workshops offer the opportunity to study glassworking on a convenient schedule.

• Tuition is $280 per workshop, which includes supplies.

• Classes meet Saturday and Sunday, 9 am–4 pm.

• Flameworking and glassblowing spaces may be rented after class on Saturday evenings for additional practice time. Contact The Studio for details.

INTENSIVE COURSES SUMMER 2020Immerse in glassmaking with a one- or two-week course. Tuition is $875 for 1-week classes; $1650 for 2-week classes. Room & board are available for an additional fee; see cmog.org/studio for details.

Apply by March 15. Intensive courses are filled by lottery; we will notify you of acceptance by March 30, 2020. A $20 application fee is required. After March 15, remaining spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

ANNEALING & RECEIPT OF FINISHED WORKAll hot-glass work requires overnight cooling in an annealer. Pieces may be picked up the following day or shipped for an additional fee.
