I came to Onesimus House for help to get my life back on track mentally, physically & spiritually. To set up a solid foundation for me to transition back into society and to be a better and more productive citizen.

Restoration of Civil Rights

Bill Lombardi On April 19th, 2017, I received a letter from the Governor of Virginia; Terence R. McAuliffe restoring my civil rights, and making it possible for me to vote, serve on a jury, and even run for public office. Since my arrival at Onesimus I have achieved several milestones: I restored my Driving Privileges, Became Manager of Onesimus, joined a Church, and now have my rights back. I thank God for all that he has done for me and look forward as I continue my walk with Christ.

Graduates

Dwayne Stretch, Joe Crespo, and Joe LaRocco

Dwayne Stretch: Onesimus House was a very good start over for me, I had nowhere to go upon being released from incarceration. When Onesimus accepted me it was a blessing and a second chance, also with very good support groups with AA, NA, Grace Community Church, Redeemer Church and Norview Baptist Church. The program helped me get my license back, a job and helped me be productive in society again. It has brought me closer to God and I have seen many positive changes in my life. The program has taught me to be patient, be a man of my word and to ask for help when needed and in turn help others. I have frown and matured through the process and have learned to manage my life as I continue my personal growth and insight. I want to thank everyone who has helped and supported me through this journey.
