Q.No. 11. What are the mandatory documents that are needed to be uploaded on Portal while applying for Scholarship? Answer: The documents needed to be uploaded on portal for applying for scholarship may vary from scheme to scheme, and it is suggested to thoroughly check scheme guidelines for details. However, the following documents are mostly required to be uploaded for Fresh applications if the amount of Scholarship is more than Rs. 50,000/- per annum.
i. Caste/Community certificate as per scheme requirement ii. ii. Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the State/UT Government. iii.
Disability certificate as per the scheme requirement iii. iv. Single girl child certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the State/UT
Government as per the scheme requirement iv. v. Scanned copy of Bank Passbook reflecting Bank Account number and IFSC details only
in case not opted for Aadhar Based payment (for Pre-Matric Scheme where students do not have their own bank account, parents/guardian can provide their own account details).
v. vi. Residential/Domicile Certificate.
Q.No. 12. What instructions should be followed by the applicants while filling up Bank Account details? Answer: i. Applicants must enter correct IFSC code of their bank branch carefully . ii. The applicants shall ensure that the account details provided by them are correct, and the account remains operational till the scholarship is received in the account (for eligible applicants). iii. It is advised to maintain the same bank account throughout the tenure of scholarship disbursement. iv. It is suggested to have the bank account in a nationalized bank for smooth and hassle-free scholarship disbursement, although it is not a mandatory requirement
vi. Bank Account holder must check their ‘Know your Customer’ (KYC) status from bank and if required the KYC must be done for successful transaction of scholarship amount
vii. vi. Applicants are advised to link their bank account with Aadhaar, for faster disbursement and ensure that the account remains active till the disbursement of the Scholarship.
viii. vii. Bank account must be operational/active till disbursal of Scholarship (for all eligible applicants) so that payment does not fail
ix. . viii. Bank account must be preferably in a Scheduled Bank (as per Reserve Bank of India) with core banking facility. ix. In case of Post Matric/Top Class/Merit-cum-Means based Scholarship Schemes, the bank account must be in name of the applicant/student only. In case of PreMatric Scholarship Scheme, the bank account should be in the name of either applicant/student or the applicant can have a joint account with his/her mother/father/guardian as indicated in the

Mount Carmel PU College established and managed by the Congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of St Teresa was founded in
1948 to meet the escalating demand for women’s education in India. The College has been offering Pre-University
Programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce with outstanding results. Our students have been recipients of State Government
scholarships, prizes and medals. Our college secures top ranks in the Pre University Board examinations. At the District level
of 2nd Year Pre University Annual Examinations, March 2020, our college bagged 24 ranks in Arts, 21 ranks in Commerce
and 1 rank in Science. Among the first ten ranks , the students from the Arts stream secured 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and two 7th
ranks , 8th, 9th and two 10th ranks and students from the Commerce stream secured 7th & 9th ranks respectively.
As per the instructions from Pre University Board, only 80 seats in each section is to be accommodated from the academic year

university in our college for the academic year 2020-2021.
Mount Carmel PU College established and managed by the Congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of St
Teresa was founded in 1948 to meet the escalating demand for women’s education in India. The College has been offering Pre-University Programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce with outstanding results.
Our students have been recipients of State Government scholarships, prizes and medals. Our college
secures top ranks in the Pre University Board examinations. At the District level of 2nd Year Pre
University Annual Examinations, March 2020, our college bagged 24 ranks in Arts, 21 ranks in
Commerce and 1 rank in Science. Among the first ten ranks , the students from the Arts stream secured
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and two 7th ranks , 8th, 9th and two 10th ranks and students from the Commerce stream
secured 7th & 9th ranks respectively.
As per the instructions from Pre University Board, only 80 seats in each section is to be accommodated
from the academic year 2020-2021 instead of 100 as in the previous years. Our college has 14 sections
with a strength of 100 in each section, & now the strength in each section will reduce by 20 thereby
reducing the total strength of 280.
As we face major pressure for admissions every year from all quarters and an institution like ours which
do not have Computer Science, and since there is a great demand from Public, Ministers and Members
from the Pre University department to start Computer Science in our prestigious institution, it was
decided to start new combinations with Computer Science in Science & Commerce as follows:-

2.EBAC : (Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy & Computer Science)
B. ADDITIONAL SECTIONS:-

2 .EBAS (Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy & Statistics) – (1 section)

We have applied for sanction of the above new 2 combinations & additional 2 sections well in time to Pre
University Board vide our letter No .MCPUC/ ºÉZÀÄÑ.ºÉƸÀ.¸ÀA / «¨sÁUÀ 1566 / G¥À / 19-2020 , Dated
27/ 02/ 2020. (Letter enclosed).
The infrastructure is excellent in our institution and our college is ranked No.1 in South India for the
Green Campus & No. 2 in the Country. Our college is well equipped with 36 classrooms, with all
required facilities for staff and students, a new Computer Laboratory is set up with required & updated
necessary facilities for the new 2 new combinations to commence from the academic year 2020-2021.
Our College is grouped under GRADE ‘A’ by the Department of Pre University Education Board vide
letter No. PUED/Aff/A,B,C Group/2008-09 Dated 30th January, 2010. (Letter enclosed)
Our campus is safe , environment conscious and always the first choice to be accommodated for the
purpose of elections for mustering , Valuation Centre for 2 Year PUC Annual examinations and as an
examination Centre for Common Entrance Test. A Solar Plant is installed for the entire campus with an
expenditure worth 2 crores. All the provisions are made for Fire and Safety System and rain water
harvesting as per National Building Code and work is in progress now. The work delayed since the
migrant workmen left to their home town due to COVID 19 and on return, had contracted corona virus.
A letter from M/s Eleazar Engineering Pvt. Ltd dated 3rd August, 2020 is submitted to Pre University
Board requesting for 45 days extension to complete the work and awaiting the inspection from the
respective departments. (Letter enclosed)
We therefore sincerely request you to kindly help us in your capacity to sanction the above courses and
additional sections from the Pre University Board at the earliest since the admission procedure will
commence very soon and also there is a tremendous pressure from many parents for the above new
courses as their children are interested in opting only Computer Science.

As discussed by our respective Director Mam with District DC’s & DDPU, in order to provide
convenience to all Valuators, hotels will be opened and bus facilities are provided, hence hotels
and lodges closest to the camps are opened. Lodging and boarding facilities separately for ladies
& gents can be availed at reasonable rates for the camps in Bangalore city .Bus facilities for
Mangalore Camps are provided and today afternoon is the duty report of all DCE. Extra care is
taken in the camps with the usage of Thermal Scanner, 2 teams in one room maintaining Social
Distance and a healthy environment is created with Sanitizers (all rooms, wash room, entrance,
floors and toilets). Please do not be afraid or have any doubts or suspicion , arrangements are
made for the Valuators to be happy and also you will have a feel like staying at home. Taking
into consideration of children & parents, all Valuators are requested to attend to Valuation duty.
Valuation work is our utmost responsibility. Hence let us all cooperate during Covid 19 by
reporting to duty and lets join hands to frame our children future. We have stayed home for the
past 2 months and now let us perform our Department duty for 15 days.

1. Log in Portal site and fill in the Institute Nodal Officer Registration Form with
Principals Aadhar Card scanned and My photo to stick & enclosed PAN card
copy as Nodal Officer and we will receive an new User ID and New Password.
Submit the original registration form to V V Towers (20th Floor) and they will
get it approved by District Officer.
2. Once they approve , we will receive a New Final Password with Institution
Form Reference ID as KA20192033266. Again we need to set a new & final
password & reconfirm the new final password.
3. Now again we need to use the Changed User ID with New Final Password and
log in to fill in the Institute Profile Update form and take a copy. Scan the
bifurcated letter for Registered Certificate and do the final submit.

CHAPTER XII
Attendance of Lecturers, Duties & Remedial Classes:
1. Lecturers should be present 15 minutes prior to the commencement of classes every day. 2. It is compulsory to sign morning register before the commencement of classes and one
more signature in the evening after the closure of the timings of the college. 3. Yearly Plan of Action to be prepared at the beginning of the academic year and obtain the
signature of the Principal. The same Plan of Action and discussions to be followed and obtain the signature of the Principal every month.
4. Classes to be taken compulsorily according to class time tables. 5. Lecturers to take classes according to class time table everyday and Work Diary to be
written which should consist of class, time and name of subject taught . Reasons to be mentioned if classes are not taken due to any conduct of college programmes.
6. To begin the class with a light and simple introduction of the subject. 7. In case if the Plan of Action is not followed in a particular month due to unavoidable
circumstances, make sure the same Plan of Action is completed taking special classes before the completion of next month.
8. It is mandatory to take attendance for each class and mention the Sl. No. as 1,2,3,4…. If a student is absent, continue the previous days number. Eg. 34,35,35,35,36,37,37,38
9. Details of shortage of Attendance to be brought to the notice of Attendance Committee every month and parents to be informed.
10. Remedial classes to be taken for weaker students with the permission of the Principal before the commencement of classes or after the college hours and the same to be noted.
11. Class Test / Mid Term Exam / monthly test / Preparatory exams answer scripts to be valuated on time and the same to be discussed with students and giving them proper
guidance. Subject-wise marks entry to be maintained in Department Marks Register and the same to be submitted to the Examination Committee before the designated date.
12. Maintain courteous relationship with the students, consult the students if they are facing any personal problems, recognize their talents and encourage them.
13. To undertake any responsibilities assigned by the Principal and cooperate with the Principal and the College Development Council (Welfare Committee) for the all - round development of the college.

14.Compulsory participation should be there for Independence Day celebrations, Gandhi Jayanthi, Dr B R Ambedkar Jayanthi, Kannada Rajyotsava, Republic Day, cultural activities, sports etc.
15.To participate in the State and National level festivals . You have to sign the attendance register before the commencement of the festival and again to sign after the completion of the festival. Strict action will be taken against those staff not adhering to.
16 .Lecturers should be present the whole day during working hours. Lecturers going out on official / personal work should sign the Movement Register.
17. The Principal is informed to intimate the higher authorities to take action who are not present in the college during working hours. 18. Lecturers to be present if selected for Workshop / educational camps. 19. To be present compulsorily for 2 year PUC Valuation duty. 20. To organize Remedial classes / extra classes in order to obtain good results in their subjects.
REMEDIAL CLASSES:-
On the basis of SSLC syllabus, a Pre-Test to be conducted to students admitted to I & II Year PUC course. Recognise the students who have obtained low marks, group them subject-wise and a Bridge Course to be conducted till 15th July to the weaker students before or after the commencement of the college. Remedial classes should be given to students who are weak in learning from July 16th to the end of the academic year. Corresponding documents to be maintained regarding the remedial teaching . 3-4 pages of assignments to be given to students everyday. Principal to prepare a time table for 6 subjects and 6 days. Preference to be given to subjects which are tough if necessary. Classes to be conducted according to the time table. Respective subject teachers will be held responsible if remedial classes are not taken. This is to bring to your kind notice that on 25.01.2019 , Friday, 2 PUC Chemistry Practicals were conducted for Batch C-6, Lab-1 from 3.00 PM – 5.00 PM & all 12 students were present. The Mark List No.00107 , the 1st Student No. 2018ANO111335
The Internal Examiner – Ms Muriel Barnabas (Employee Code ANO113400001) entered all the marks and the booklet numbers and clicked on SUBMIT . (since it did not respond once, clicked on SUBMIT several times). But the pop up message: Successfully saved! did not show up. The Internal Examiner then logged out and logged in again to re-enter the marks. When the mark list no. and 1st Student No. were entered and clicked on GET DATA, the following message appeared: “INVALID OMR OR DATA ALREADY ENTERED”.
The External Examiner – Mr Ravi.G.V (MES PU College),College Code: ANO12(Employee Code ANO113400004) then logged in and entered the marks and clicked on SUBMIT . But the pop up message: Successfully saved! did not show up again. The External Examiner then logged out and logged in again to re-enter the marks. When the mark list no. and 1st Student No. were entered and checked on GET DATA, the following message appeared: “ALREADY ENTERED IN THIS COMPUTER NO.!.
