Tung Ling Seminary Malaysia was established in year 1993. Tung Ling means ‘Eastern Mountain’ in Mandarin. The founding pioneers believed that God will train many workers in this “Eastern Mountain” and send them to the mission field based on Micah 4:2. Tung Ling is a ‘School of the Spirit’, inter-denominational in character and maintains a strong emphasis on the Word of God and the present working of the Holy Spirit. I thought that I already knew enough about sharing the Gospel from my many years of experiences. However, after participating in this three months course, I have come to realised that I had gain much more knowledge and can be more effective in sharing the Gospel.

The course really encouraged me to overcome my fears, my pain, and my worries about the future. Within a short span of time, my knowledge has improved immensely. Not only that, I had a great opportunity making new friends from all over the world.

Every topic has made an impact in my life. I received unusual impartations from our teachers and felt more equipped now - ready for the next dimension of assignment that the Lord will give me.

Three months of SOM has created a hunger in me to strive for an experiential understanding of God in my heart that comes from knowing Him, rather than just ‘head knowledge’ from knowing about Him. Ultimately, I leave SOM with this nugget of wisdom: start the race of faith well, but more importantly, finish well too.
