    as we will be making pictures! Be on the stage ready to practice at 5:30 pm and we will dismiss at 7:00 pm.

    We are praying for Bro. Eugene to have a speedy recovery and we extend a special thank you to Bro. Wendell Dutton for leading our Wednesday night VBS study on May 20 and 27.

    1. TUESDAY MORNING AT 9:00 A.M. WE WILL BEGIN DECORATING THE STAGE FOR VBS AND WELCOME ANYONE TO

    COME HELP US! Pizza lunch will be provided at no cost to you!

    2. Next Sunday (May 31) is “casual wear Sunday” for Sunday School & Worship.

    Wear your jeans, etc. but we ask that you NOT wear shorts to church on

    Sunday. The VBS workers & children’s choir need to wear the “Journey Off The

    Map” t-shirts.

    3. Be present to enjoy the children as they present the VBS musical at the

    11:00 am service next Sunday. Also Bro. Ricky will challenge and

    commission the workers during the worship service.

    4. Next Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. (May 31) will be a “working service”. We

    are asking each member to come and help the teachers set up their rooms and

    the rest of the church for the week of VBS! There will be something for

    everyone to do as lots of items in the church have to be moved! We will work

    from 4:00—6:30 p.m. Nursery will be provided.

    5. Pray daily for all the workers in VBS and about children making decisions

    for Christ!

    6. For t-shirts see Barbara Leach or Faye Marton. ($8.00 to $9.00)

    7. You can give money to VBS beginning next Sunday and June 7 or you may also

    deliver a donation to the church office at any time. Be sure & mark your

    checks for VBS.

    8. Preschool Recreation needs to borrow any riding toys that could be used

    on the playground. Please bring SOON! Be sure & put your name on them.

    9. Save for VBS: Clean vegetable & soup cans & 1 inch x 12 inch boards.

    10. TODAY at the end of service we need help moving the choir chairs,

    podium, and also the hymnals, Bibles, & pencils from the pews.

    Camp Piney is a Summer Day Camp for kids that have completed regular kindergarten through 6th grade. Spaces will be limited to kids that can attend all 5 days & will participate in all activities! We now have a waiting list for grades K-3rd. We have 11 slots open in 4-6th grades. ATTENTION TEENS! (those who have finished 8th grade and above) Turn in your applications to WORK at Camp Piney by TODAY! Applications are on both info. tables. Turn apps in to Mrs. Joan or Miss Jordyn.

    Volleyball sign-up sheets for the 2015 season are on both information tables. We are wanting to have a kids team this year (ages 8-14). Please sign your kids up to play!
