Royal Rangers | Boys and Young Men Grades K-8Lower Level

Royal Rangers is a ministry for boys. Our aim is to instruct, challenge, and inspire boys in areas of Bible knowledge, Christian service, moral conduct, and basic beliefs of our church through interesting activities that boys enjoy. What makes it unique is the combination of Christian principles with the fun and adventure of outdoor activities.

Missionettes | Girls and Young Women Grades K-123rd Floor

Missionettes is a ministry for girls and young women to equip them to become all that God has planned for them to be. The focus of the ministry is to see every girl moving toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Missionettes also exists to empower girls to realize their importance and potential in God’s Kingdom.

Every Sunday, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on the 3rd floor, the students are greeted warmly in an atmosphere of fun and fellowship as they Encounter God in a life-changing way; Experience Life in a healthy Christ-centered environment among peers and leaders; and learn to Embrace their Community through events and outreaches in everyday life!

Wednesday Evening DinnerEvery Wednesday, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m., Fellowship Hall

Centerpointe is now serving dinner every Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. The cost is ONLY $5.00 per person. Proceeds will support Wakepointe Student Ministries. Although walk-ins are welcome, you can help us prepare by completing the appropriate section on our communication card on Sunday mornings or by contacting Pastor John Carter.

Registration – Kids’ Camp 2011

KIDS CAMP REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Sunday, May 15th. Kids Camp is open to all children ages 8-12 years old. No exceptions. Children must be 8 by opening day of the camp (July 25) they are attending. Children who turn 13 before the opening day of camp should register for youth camp.

Registration packets are available outside Pastor John Carter’s office or you may pick one up on Sundays at the Kidz Pointe registration table in the Fellowship Hall.

Ladies’ Night Out Sunday, May 1, 5:00 p.m., Maggiano’s Little Italy

We will meet at the church at 5:00 p.m. and travel by van to Maggiano’s Little Italy at Tyson’s Galleria Mall. Ladies’ Night Out is an outreach for ladies of all ages to break bread, fellowship, and enjoy a time of sharing and ministry with other “Ladies of Centerpointe.”

Angel Food Ministries

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the US. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 44 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Kidz ExcursionSaturday, June 4, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The weather is getting warm and we’re ready to shake off the winter blues. On Saturday, June 4th, Pastor John Carter and the team are taking your kids to the Cub Run Recreation Center and CiCi’s Pizza for an afternoon of water-fun and pizza! This event is open to all children grades K-6. The cost is $20 per child. Drop off is at 12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Children are encouraged to eat lunch prior to arriving at the church.

On Memorial Day, join the Centerpointe Church family for a day filled with food, fun and just plain nice folks! All the meats, drinks, and tableware are provided by the church. Feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share. The picnic will include volleyball, bocce ball, field games, horseshoes (including a doubles tournament), and much more!
