The 2015-2016 school year has been packed with amaz- ing accomplishments and achievements. Our staff and students have shown reless effort and for that we praise them. We would like to thank the staff for all they have done throughout the year to ensure our students’ successes both in and out of the classroom. They are an amazing group of educators! We would like to thank our families for the endless support during the year. We appreciate all of your involvement, encouragement, me, and ener- gy. We could not accomplish all that we are able to without your dedicaon. We are extremely proud. Our strong home-school connecon proves that we all believe that our “Children Maer Most.” We would like to thank the PTA and ALL of our volunteers for a wonder- ful year. Your involvement in our school community is so important. You help us provide the students with all the extras that make this school so special. We hope that you connue as a volunteer in the upcoming school year! We would like to wish our sixth graders the best as they begin a new journey at the Junior High School. They are more than prepared, and we are confident that they will do great things. We look forward to hearing about their future accomplishments over the years. Finally, we would to wish Ms. Hagarty and Ms. Rehill a happy and healthy rerement. We appreciate their dedicaon to the Abington School Dis- trict and the students of Copper Beech. Message from the Principals

As the summer is upon us, we wanted to take a brief moment to wish all of our families well. The 2015-2016 school year has been packed with amaz-ing accomplishments and achievements. Our staff and students have shown tireless effort and for that we praise them.

We would like to thank the staff for all they have done throughout the year to ensure our students’ successes both in and out of the classroom. They are an amazing group of educators!

This year Copper Beech had two teams representing our school. Both teams con-sisted of 4th through 6th grade students who competed against other elementary schools in the district. Copper Beech students did a great job and showed excellent sportsmanship. All in all, it was a successful competition for Copper Beech.

At the end of the school year, we held a Kindergarten through Fifth Grade Cougar

Assembly and a Sixth Grade Recognition Ceremony. Students were recognized for

their participation or achievements in the following:

KIND Club, Odyssey of the Mind, Cheerleading, Girls on the Run, VIBE and IMAGINE,

Reading Olympics, Abington Fitness Challenge, Track and Field, MathFax, Math

Olympiad, Service Learning, Cougar Kids, Kindergarten CARES Awards, Try-umph

Awards, Art Awards, Music Awards, President’s Awards, TREEmendous Awards,

Ginny Fuller Award, and Matthew Bythrow Award.

We know our students show CARES behavior every day. Our staff and students hold

high expectations for learning and achievement. Congratulations to all our students

for their hard work and effort throughout the year!
