Introduction
The increasing IT application of cloud computing, VoIP, video conference and Data Centre is changing
enterprise networks. The demand of bandwidth expansion constantly grows in Energy/Government/
Finance/Education/Enterprise field. "Bandwidth anytime and bandwidth anywhere" means any customer
could enjoy to access their own multimedia application center at any place without any bandwidth
bottle neck.
In addition, the requirements of transmission network are various under different scenarios, however
they have some common ground which requires kinds of service access, high reliability, long distance
transport with low lantency, flexible grooming. To match these requirements driven by the fast-growing
IT application demands of enterprise users, Huawei provides mature commercial WDM solution which
call as Optix OSN8800. OSN 8800 T32 and OSN 8800 T16 are mainly deployed in national backbone,
regional or provincial backbone and metropolitan core site. As an intelligent OTN product, the
equipment integrates functions such as OTN transport, ROADM, 40G/100G, any service access in the range
of 100M to 100G, optical and electrical ASON synergy.
