CUTTER

•Hi! My job is cutter and this job consist of cutting, pasting, and polishing stones or pieces of wood.

•The tools we use are a hammer and a escarpment

•My day starts at six in the morning, at noon we stop for an hour for lunch and continue working when the sun goes, normally at five o'clock.

•I always work in my studio. There must be a store where all my stuff is stored to work. I work with my assistant, who is my cousin.

•We both work for our customers and we work if we want to sell in the market.

•I loved my job but I could not choose. Although I think it was very important in 15th century, now there are few.

• I do two or three day jobs, depend on each week.

•My assistant is in charge of the work which is easier. We don’t have to use uniforms or dirty old clothes.

• We did not use cloth security because this job is not necessary.

•We do not have time to finish work. We finish when we can.

•We usually work eight or nine hours a day, don’t work the Sundays. It’s a day with family.

•This job is easy compared to some but is very hard. I like this. Many years working for that reason.

• The tools I use were from my father because is a job of family tradition.

•This job is made just by men. At that time , women areoccupied with the children and the house.

• I began working when I was ten years old.

•Long time after I retired. When I was sixty seven years.
