The inflation of nationalism, radicalism and authoritarianism within right wing movements was one of the characteristic features of the first half of the 20th Century. It was expressed in the development of movements and political cultures like reactionary nationalism and fascism and the new dictatorships they gave rise to.
This Conference intends to discuss these processes, the transnational nature of the aforementioned political cultures; their changes, internal plurality and evolution; their transversalities, relations and mutual influences. Consideration will also be given to the analysis of right-wing dictatorships, discussing the dynamics that provide an understanding of their creation, characteristics and evolution and the alliances and struggles that arose between the political sectors (nationalists, fascists, etc) which shaped them.
