Meaning of culture
Culture of civilisation is that complex whole which
includes knowledge, belief, art, morals,law,custom,&
other capabilities and habits acqired by man as a
member of society.
The total life way of a people.
Culture is the software of mind- the socialprogramming that runs the way we think, act &
perceive ourselves & others. And brain is simply the
hardware that runs the cultural programming.

The term cultural lag refers to the notionthat culture takes time to catch up withtechnological innovations, and that social
problems and conflicts are caused by this lag.
Subsequently, cultural lag does not only apply to
this idea only, but also relates to theory andexplanation. It helps by identifying and explainingsocial problems and also to predict futureproblems.
