General Requirements:

Strong Object Oriented background with Java, C/C++, or C#

Ability to collaborate with other cross-functional teams and non-technical users and be able to gather user requirements

BS degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science or similar technical degree

Mobile Requirements:

Strong hands on experience developing for Android, iPhone/iPad/iPod, Blackberry, and/or Symbian platforms.

Strong overall background with C/C++, Java, J2ME, Brew... We can turn a great Java developer into a terrific Android developer with limited rampup.

Intricate knowledge of the iPhone OS, Palm OS, Symbian OS, Blackberry OS, Windows Mobile, and Linux are a plus.

Experience in developing consumer facing mobile applications (ideally millions of users)

Good understanding of OO Design/Development and various software design patterns and frameworks

Understanding of algorithms and data structures.

J2EE Requirements:

1-5 yrs developing large volume, high availability enterprise applications utilizing J2EE technologies (Spring, JBoss, etc.)

Strong Server and Back-End Development expertise.

Database Skills using Oracle, PostGres, and JDBC

Experience with SOA, REST, Open Source Technologies (Maven, ANT etc)

Strong background and understanding of Design

RoR Requirements:

6 months+ of RoR development and a strong passion to be the best developer you can be. Senior and Architect level candidates should have 2+ yrs of RoR and 5+ years of overall development.

Previous experience with Sinatra, Monk, Erlang, Merb, AJAX, XHTML is highly desired.

Active RoR community involvement, published GEMS is a great plus

Strong exposure building high performance applications in the cloud would be a plus.
