Coming Together:

One of the most precious gifts you can give

someone is your time, and as the days grow

shorter and the TO DO list grows larger, we

all need a reminder on just how important

this gift of time can be. Besides from those

precious moments of time we have to

ourselves, it's those moments we share

together that make lasting impressions in

our lives. Decorating, baking, playing,

visiting… time genuinely spent enjoying

each other’s company is a gift that lasts.

Prior to holiday break, our school comes

together in many ways. Our faculty's

holiday tradition of singing to all of our

students is the one occasion when we are all

together and it is magical. We also get to

hear our chorus and music groups perform,

when all of their hard work and talents pay

off as they join together as one cohesive

group. It’s the time spent together that

matters more than the gifts we bring or buy.

What will your kids remember about the

holidays when they grow up? Chances are

it’s those memories shared rather than the

gifts received. So joy and peace to your

family as you enjoy those moments together,

and we will be rested and ready for them in

January when you are ready to bring them

back.

Who’s Your Baby???? Attention, parents of 5th grade students… We are planning a fun new page in the yearbook this year! Send in a baby picture of your 5th grader to include them on this page. We will make a collage of all the babies, but not include their names. A name key will be hidden somewhere in the yearbook to make it even more fun! We know the 5th grade students will enjoy guessing who is who!!! If you want to include your child’s picture, please send a picture (not to be returned) in a sealed envelope and include $5.00. Be sure to print your child’s name clearly on the back of the picture. If you choose to write a check, please make it payable to Osceola PTO. Please write WHO’S YOUR BABY? – ATTENTION: MRS. Nancy’s Bookshelf

Osceola Elementary School will be honoring our former principal and friend Nancy Little and her service to our school by having a Nancy’s Bookshelf in the Media Center. This bookshelf will have an array of children’s books that Nancy loved or books that remind us of her. If you would like to make a donation in loving memory of Nancy, you can do it two ways:

1. You can pay by cash or check (Osceola Elementary Sunshine $15.00) and we will buy

the book for you

OR 2. You can purchase your own brand new, hard

cover book from a local bookstore and drop it

off at the Osceola front office.

All books will have a special dedication label placed in the front cover with your name. The books will then be

placed in a special section of the Media Center dedicated to Nancy and available for everyone at Osceola to enjoy. Please complete the form below if and return to school with payment. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call or email Kellie Blanco. Thank you for

helping us honor and remember Nancy! All orders must be placed by December 21st
