MAS-VSP Automatic self-priming unit with vacuum pump,designed for the priming of centrifugal pumps wheredry running is not admissible. It guaranties a reliablepriming. If the discharge pressure fall during operation,the aspirator starts up once more for re-evacuation.

UYGULAMA: MAS-VSP emifl sistemi kat› parçaiçermeyen s›v›lar için uygundur.Kuru çal›flmas›na müsaade edilmeyen sistemler içinkullan›labilir.Gaz içeren s›v›lar için de uygundur.

APPLICATION : MAS –VSP Priming Unit is suitable forthin, clean, non- aggresive liquids free from large solidparticles and fibres.It can be used for the systems where dry running is notpermissible also for gas containing liquids.

ÇALIfiMA fiEKL‹ :Pompa motorunun çal›flt›rma butonuna (Start Butonu)bas›ld›¤›nda, e¤er pompa su ile dolu ise pompa çal›fl›r.Pompa su ile dolu de¤il ise selenoid valf aç›l›r, vakumpompas› devreye girer, oluflan vakum ile su emmeborusu içinde yükselir.Emme borusu ve pompa gövdesi tamamen su iledolunca flamand›ral› s›v› seviye rölesinin verdi¤i sinyalile motor flalteri kapan›r ve motor çal›fl›r.Pompa yeterli bas›nc› oluflturana kadar selenoid vevakum pompas› devrede kal›r.Yeterli bas›nç sa¤lan›p pompa su basmaya bafllad›ktansonra ( Pompa bas›nc› yükselince ) selenoid valf

FUNCTION: When the centrifugal pump is turned on, onlythe vacuum pump will be activated.If the pump is full of water it starts immediately.Else solenoid valve opens and vacuum pump runs. Afterevacuating has been completed, the centrifugal pump isswiched on by means of the water level switch. As soonas the centrifugal pump has build up the necessarydischarge pressure, the vacuum pump is switched off overthe pressure switch.Should the discharge pressure fall again by during pumpoperation through gas accumulation, the automatic vacuumunit starts up once more for re-evacuation . Emmeyi garanti alt›na almak ve susuzçal›flmay› önlemek için motor kontrol panosuna motorçal›flt›rma kontaktörü (K01) veya büyük güçler için bir y›ld›züçgen kontaktör devresi, termik röle (F02) Start(S02) ve Stop (S01) butonlar›na ek olarak Vakum pompas›için çal›flt›rma kontaktörü (K04) ve termik rölesi (F04) biryard›mc› kontaktör (K02), bir zaman rölesi (K03) ve birseçme anahtar› (S03) ilavesi gereklidir.VSP emifl sisteminin ba¤lant› flemas› ise fleklin alt›ndagörülmektedir. Motor kontrol panosu ile VSP aras›nda5 iletkenli bir ara kablo bulunmal›d›r.* Bas›nç Rölesinin ayar› (P1): Bas›nç rölesinin start

* Zaman Rölesinin ayar› (K03): Bu rölenin süresi motorkontaktörünün çekmesi ile pompan›n bas›nç üretmesiaras›nda geçen emniyetli zamand›r ( 5~10 sn olabilir) Y›ld›z - üçgen yolvermeli motorlar için y›ld›zda geçen zamandan uzun olmal›d›r. (y›ld›z - üçgen zaman rölesisüresinden 2 sn daha uzun olabilir.)

* Ayar de¤erleri ön çal›flt›rmada kontrol edilmeli ve gereklidüzeltmeler yap›lmal›d›r.

* Ayarlanan de¤erlerde emme sa¤lanamaz ise:1- Emme borusunu, varsa emme vanas›n› ve kollektörü

kontrol ediniz.2- Servis suyu deposunda yeterli su oldu¤unu

kontrol ediniz.3- Vakum pompas›n›n dönüfl yönünü ve selenoidi

kontrol ediniz.4- Egzost borusundan yeterli ç›k›fl olup olmad›¤›n›

kontrol ediniz.5- Emme ifllemi s›ras›nda Mano- Vakummetre negatif

de¤er (Vakum) göstermeli, pompa çal›flt›ktan sonra bas›nca geçmelidir. Kontrol ediniz.

ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:

WARNINGS AND ACTION :Necessary panel elements and circuits are shown onabove diagram .To guarantee priming condi-tions and toprevent dry operation, one Auxiliary contactor (K02), onetime relay (K03), one selector switch (S03) and a contactor(K04) and thermal relay (F04) for vacuum pump's motorshould be also placed to the control panel in additon tomotor starting contactor (K01) or star-delta connectioncircuit for bigger motor powers, thermal relay (F02), Start(S02) and Stop (S01) buttons.The circuit diagram of VSPpriming unit can be seen under the drawing.There is a cable having 5 conductors between motorcontrol panel and VSP.* Adjustment of Pressure Relay ( P1 ) : Start Pressure

of the relay should be suitable for the pump's workingpressure. The closed contact of the relay will be used.Opening pressure should be at least 1 bar smaller thanthe pump's working pressure.

* Adjustment of Time Relay ( K03 ): Time of this relayis the safety time between motor's contactor start andpump's start pressurising. (app. 5-10 sc.) For star-deltaconnection motors, time should be longer than star connection (app. 2 seconds more)

* Set values should be re-checked during pre-operationand necessary changes should be done if required.

* In case there is a problem with priming at the settledvalues:

1- Check the suction pipe, and check the suction valveand collector if any

2- Check the service water tank, if there is enough waterin it.

3- Check direction of rotation of vacuum pump.4- Check if there is enough discharge from the exhaust

pipe.5- During priming, manometer should indicate negative

value (vacuum), and should be pressurised after the pump starts operation.

MAS-VSP unitesi, Havas› boflalt›lacak hacmin en yükseknoktas›ndan daha yukar›ya monte edilmelidir.Motor kontrol panosu içindeki devre ve elemanlar›, buradakidevre flemas›na uygun olarak kullan›c› taraf›ndan teminedilecektir.

MAS - VSP automatic priming system is delivered:1- As a separate unit suitable to mounting at a wall or

ground or,2- As a ready to install unit mounted on the main pump

MAS - VSP unit is to be fitted at the highest point to beevacuated .Above mentioned parts and circuits on the motor controlpanel will be supplied by the end user according to theenclosed circuit diagram.
