Test your memory and find the specimens

on display in our museum - there are lots of

different mammals, birds, minerals, insects

and other animals all waiting to be discovered.

To Play:

1. Print out these pages and stick them to cardboard.

2. Carefully cut around each specimen card (you can

cover them in clear sticky-back plastic to make them stronger).

3. Shuffle the specimen cards and lay them face down on a flat surface in five rows of ten.

4. Take turns to pick up two cards at random.

If the picture on the two cards is the same, the player picks up these two cards and turns

over two more. If the two cards are not the same, the cards are turned back face down in

the same place they were and it is the next player’s turn. You must try and remember

where similar cards are located and pick up as many pairs as possible. The winner of the game

is the one who has the most pairs at the end of the game.
