HEATING and LIGHTING A big thank you to those who have made a donation which has allowed us to purchase the heaters for the Church. We now need to work on raising the money to upgrade the lighting. If you would like to help reach our target (see the thermometer on the wall in the church foyer) please put your donation in an envelope clearly marked ‘heating and lighting donation) and put it in the offertory plate. Include your name and a receipt will be issued

REFUGEES Thank you to those of you who have responded to the appeal for items for the Refugees. The following items are still needed: Soup, Baby Food, Hot Chocolate/Milo plus we have $20 pledged towards a Vacuum Cleaner. All items need to be at Church by Thursday 28th September. GARAGE SALE

Saturday 30 September. A sign up sheet is in the church foyer for you to indicate when you can help. Goods for sale can be left in the hall.

PLANT FAIR Just 5 weeks till the Plant Fair. Time to get those seedlings potted up and plants ready for sale. Pots are available on the hall veranda -help yourself Start saving your boxes too—not too big.

shoe box. Place marked envelope into offertory plate.

ELECTION DAY Next Saturday is our General Election. As in previous years St Hilda’s hall will be used as a polling booth.
