Social Responsibility at Ingram MicroCorporate social responsibility (CSR) is a commitment we all share at Ingram Micro.

With a presence in 26 countries around the globe, the world is not just where we do business—it’s where we live, play and raise our families.

For this reason, 2010 became a year where we gained significant momentum in our social responsibility efforts.

We took the grass-roots work our associates were forging around the globe, both personally and profes-sionally, and formed a company wide program that has top priority from the boardroom to every corner of our organization. We launched this strategic effort on Earth Day 2010 through our Smart Citizen brand.

Smart Citizen, Smart StewardWhat does being a smart citizen mean at Ingram Micro? It involves practicing our corporate commitment to be socially responsible in three key areas:

• OurEnvironment: Lead as an environmentally accountable corporation working with our customers and suppliers to minimize our company’s impact on the environment.

• OurCommunities: Be a positive influence in the communities in which we work and live.

• OurWorkplace: Maintain a professionally challenging, rewarding, respectful and safe workplace for all Ingram Micro associates and business partners.

As individual and corporate members of the global community, we strive to keep these commitments, doing what is right, best and fair for our communities, partners, associates and shareholders while main-taining a strong and viable business.

2010 HighlightsWith these commitments top-of-mind, we recognize that social responsibility is an evolutionary process and Ingram Micro is a newcomer on this corporate journey.

In 2010, we identified key areas of corporate impact, developed a mechanism to track them and mobilized resources to collect baseline data, with the ultimate goal of reporting our global sustainability progress annually.

Social responsibility was a topic globally discussed this year, as we helped our associates keep steward-ship front and center in their daily habits. We understand that the small things add up, such as turning off lights and equipment, utilizing video conferencing in lieu of travel, and printing only when necessary. All associates will remain focused on their individual contributions. Around the globe, we:

• Donatedmorethan$1milliontocharities

• Supportedalmost200non-profitorganizations,involvingthousandsofassociatesintheir local communities

• Trained over 500 associates in leadership development, helping advance our workplace performance

Moving ForwardWe remain committed to incorporating social responsibility into the fabric of our business. And, as we mature in our understanding of the impacts we make, we will take responsible actions to lessen the negative aspects and enhance the positive, seeking to make a difference around the world.

We are fully aware that our stewardship approach, both organic and structural, is reflected in the personal and corporate actions we take today and has a measurable impact on the quality of life for generations to come.

Join us as we take this step into a more sustainable future.

Gregory M.E. Spierkel Chief Executive Officer Ingram Micro Inc.

Measuring Our Environmental ImpactOur corporate environmental impacts are centered on our use of energy and materials to repackage and distribute goods, coupled with related administration and marketing; our business is not involved in manu-facturing and we contract for transportation services.

As our timeline describes, during the past year we made significant progress in establishing the internal processes necessary to measure key elements related to our corporate environmental impact, including the development of a worldwide environmental policy that guides our sustainability actions.

The result is baseline data related to Ingram Micro’s environmental footprint. While some data sets cover two years, allowing us to provide a year-over-year comparison, for most categories, this is our first year of tracking.

Notalldatapointsincludeinformationfromallregionaloperations.Aswemoveforward, wewillcontinuetorefine our gathering and tracking capabilities relative to our global environmental stewardship performance.

Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

Ingram Micro Private Label Division provides peripherals, accessories and supplies that “surround the PC,” incorporating

the same quality, reliability and performance of first-tier brands at affordable prices, for value-added resellers, small- to medium-sized

businesses and system integrators.

Product QualityWe select first-tier manufacturers through a rigorous on-boarding process in

which we determine the partner’s financial health, product quality and design and manufacturing capabilities. During product development, we ensure the

products we bring to market are qualified through testing and engage firms to validate end-user design. At the production floor, our teams examine the prod-

ucts to ensure they adhere to strict quality control processes at our partner sites in order to deliver quality products to our customers.

Environment and SustainabilityAs part of our commitment to the earth, we ensure most, if not all, of our products adhere to the European Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. Our LCD monitors are Energy Star compliant, consuming power more efficiently and reducing their environmental impact. For end-of-life products, we have a “Cash for Gadgets” program in the United States that enables our products to be re-used or recycled in an environmentally responsible manner.

Similarly, more than 50 percent of IngramMicroBelgium’s invoices were sent electronically.

All business units follow local and national laws for the appropriate handling of eWaste.

Green ITIngram Micro continues to make it easier for customers to select GreenITproducts.In2010,NorthAmericamadesystemchangestobettertrackthepurchaseandsaleofENERGYSTAR® and EPEAT® registered technology. This included making the Ingram Micro website an easier tool for customers to search for and find these products.

Ingram Micro continues to support environmental responsibility by increasing its offerings in virtualization and cloud computing solutions. In 2010, the company earned the Global and Americas VMwarePartnerNetworkAwardsforourdistributionof virtualization products.

Australia markets Green IT solutions in cooperation with vendor partners, influencing the IT channel toward the use of IT products and solutions that can lower energy and costs, helping to reduce their environmental impact.

In 2011, we want to improve our ability to track and measure sustainability key indicators, getting better at understanding our impacts and how to express them.

Specifically, we will focus on improving our ability to measure our use of corrugated materials which is a key component of our business operations.

Making Energy Reduction Work at Ingram MicroHere’s how the facilities team made a difference at corporate headquarters:1. White Roof. When the existing black roof needed an upgrade, the obvious choice was to cover it with a

Community Relations and Philanthropy at Ingram Micro At Ingram Micro, we are proud of our long-standing commitment to the communities in which we live and work. This commitment begins at our company headquarters in Santa Ana, Calif., and extends out to the many communities around the globe where our associates reside.

Through Ingram Micro’s Community Relations and Philanthropy program, we invest volunteer, cash and in-kind donations to non-profit organizations around the world with many of these investments being directed at innovative programs that promote education and technology.

Ingram Micro believes that educating and inspiring tomorrow’s leaders is vital to our future. We support organizations that improve educational outcomes, raise student achievement and provide access to opportunities.

We also help non-profit organizations develop and realize their visions through the power of technology. Technology has revolutionized the way businesses operate, communicate and market. These same innovations provide important breakthroughs for non-profit organizations and Ingram Micro is proud to donate technology products.

Ingram Micro’s Community Relations and Philanthropy program is divided into four categories:

Partnering Smart With Our Local CommunitiesIngram Micro believes that communities where the company maintains business locations should be healthier and more vibrant because of our presence. Ingram Micro offices in nearly 26 countries have volunteer-led philanthropic committees or small groups of associates that make grant recommendations, organize philanthropic volunteer events for associates and provide input on the issues most affecting that local community.

In 2010, Ingram Micro was able to support almost 200 non-profits around the globe.

Lending a Helping Hand Through VolunteerismIngram Micro’s philanthropy is driven by our associates’ commitment to being involved in their local communi-ties. Each year, Ingram Micro associates from around the world volunteer thousands of hours to many organizations. We believe that volunteering shows the power of the human spirit and proves that by working together, we can build a better world.

Whether it’s volunteering to give blood at the quarterly blood drives, packing boxes of food so thousands of people have a hot meal during a local holiday, being a Big Brother or Big Sister, or serving on the board of a local non-profit organization, our associates are encouraged to give their time and support to make a differ-ence in their community.

MarthaR.Ingram co-founded Ingram Micro with her late husband E. Bronson Ingram and has exhibited a legacy of selfless lead-ership throughout her career. Through this award, we honor her pioneering spirit, keen business sense and active civic engagement and highlight Ingram Micro associates who follow in her footsteps to create a positive influence in business and society.

TeamworkWe promote and support a diverse, yet unified, team. We work together to meet our common goals.

AccountabilityWe accept our individual and team responsibilities and we meet our commitments. We take responsibility for our performance in all of our decisions and actions.

Living Out Our ValuesIngram Micro’s mission is to be an indispensable business partner—the most valued bridge between our vendors and customers. We are concerned with how to best contribute to our partners’ growth and profit-ability based upon their unique business requirements and needs.

In practice, we follow our Code of Conduct and corporate values to guide us in implementing our chosen mission.

Every associate at Ingram Micro is measured against these corporate values which have been translated into competency-based behaviors used in annual performance reviews.

We proactively and regularly engage with major multi-national IT companies to discuss channel compliance issues and generally make the two-tier distribution channel a safer and more compliant place to do business. In 2010, we launched an IT industry-wide effort to develop a standard approach to conducting compliance diligence on downstream sales partners in the channel, and build a common database to house this information which can then be used to the benefit of all participant stakeholders in the sales channel.

In 2010, Larry Boyd, executive vice president, secretary and general counsel, was named to the Ethisphere Institute’s2010listof“AttorneysWhoMatter”andwasoneoftheyear’stopgeneralcounselsinrecogni-tion of his and Ingram Micro’s commitment to working with and serving our vendor and reseller partners in the utmost ethical manner.

Values

RespectWe honor the rights and beliefs of our fellow associates, our customers, our shareowners, our manufacturers and our community. We treat others with the highest degree of dignity, equality and trust.

IntegrityWe employ the highest ethical standards, demonstrating honesty and fairness in every action that we take.

InnovationWe are creative in delivering value to our fellow associates, customers, shareowners, manufacturers and community. We anticipate change and capitalize on the many opportunities that arise.

Realigning Our CultureIngram Micro has embarked on a multi-year culture alignment strategy to support our business goals. Through a structured process, teams across the company are developing best practice tactics that can be adopted and maintained over time in order to foster and sustain a culture of agility, innovation, customer focus and accountability.

Practically, this means that we will focus on not only being friendly and open, but also accountable; that we will foster teamwork along with innovation; that we will adhere to our company values while also being market-driven.

In 2010, the company’s focus was on putting structure around the vision and goals of the realignment strategy and conducting the first work effort focused on improvements in Ingram Micro’s decision-making processes and capabilities.

The leadership academy offers a week-long training program in collaboration with University of California Irvine’s Merage School of Business, with classes jointly taught by Ingram Micro’s corporate executives and business school professors to rising stars with high leadership potential.

About 20 participants attend and work on a six-month long project following the week of classes. Looking AheadIngram Micro remains firmly rooted in technology distribution, getting the right product to the right place at the right time. As we optimize our traditional business model, strengthen our specialty business lines and develop new business opportunities, we will continue to incorporate social responsibility as a strategic priority within our operations.

This is our first year to collect and publish global metrics related to our corporate commitments. Looking ahead, we will continue to refine these data sets as we better understand the impacts our business makes.

As author Chellis Glendinning* states, “If we cannot envision the world we would like to live in, we cannot work towards its creation. If we cannot place ourselves in it in our imagination, we will not believeitispossible.”

*From “My Name is Chellis and I’m in Recovery from Western Civilization,” 1994.

Ingram Micro has a social responsibility vision and is taking concrete steps to advance it. We will do this with the commitment and collaboration of our associates who live out our strong values through smart business partnerships as a way of life. Without the people of Ingram Micro committed to this CSR vision, we would be just another technology distributor.

We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors,
