PRAYERS REQUESTED

We continue to ask for prayers for the special health intentions of a parishioner and their family. When someone is ill, we are at a loss of what to do for this person. The best gift we can give is the gift of prayer. We believe the more we pray, the more blessings our dear Lord will bestow on this individual. May God grant you peace and strength and may you always know of the Lord’s compassion and care given to all who love Him and ask for His help. ♥

PRAYER FOR OUR MILITARY

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask Your protection for all our men and women in military service who cannot be with their family. Guard our churches, our homes, our schools, hospitals, factories, all buildings and all those within from harm and peril. Amen.

Do you know of someone who longs to have a closer relationship with our Heavenly Father. Can you plant the seeds of hope as you speak of our Father's loving care, and his everlasting promises fulfilled in the sending of his Son, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit? Ask about the RCIA inquiry sessions for those who are not baptized, are of other faiths, or are adult Catholics who were not confirmed by contacting Sharon in the parish office and one of our RCIA team members will reach out to you.

WEEKLY CONTRIBUTIONS VIA ONLINE GIVING FOR SUMMER

As we head into vacation season, weekends away and the hustle and bustle of summer, we tend to forget about our weekly contributions to our church and the bills and expenses that don’t take a vacation. We encourage you to sign up for ONLINE GIVING. This will ensure steady income over the summer months for us and one less thing for you to have to worry about weekly. Online giving forms can be found on the tables around the church or you can call Sharon in the parish office to begin the process.

WILL OR BEQUEST GIFTS When considering gifts to a charity in your Will or Trust, please remember Our Lady’s.

AN UPDATE FROM OUR MUSIC DIRECTOR, PATRICK BOTTI Back in April, I had announced that my wife, Lisa had accepted a position with the University of Florida and therefore, I would be leaving Our Lady’s at some point in the future. I mentioned that I was not sure when that would happen, as I needed to find a position down there as a music minister and as a conductor. I had applied to two Catholic churches in the area. I was one of the finalists for both positions and went down to Florida two weeks ago for final interviews and live auditions. I was very grateful to be able to secure both positions, although I had to choose one of the two since both were full time positions. Starting August 15, I will be Director of Music and Liturgy for Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, a parish in Ocala, Florida. This means that, unfortunately, I will be leaving Our Lady’s at the end of July. You all know that I am heartbroken about it. The first time I joined you as

Director of Music was in the spring of 1991. This is my parish, this has been my home for all those years and I know so many of you. I will miss you all. I will communicate all of my coordinates when I have them. Someone will come after me; someone who I am sure will be excellent, with many professional and human qualities. I know that you will welcome that person as you have welcomed me, with your heart open, with your generosity and with your love. We will be in touch and I will come up to visit as much as I can. I hope to see you at the farewell reception on Saturday, July 27 after the 4:00pm Mass.

Much love, Patrick

FAREWELL RECEPTION FOR PATRICK

We hope you can all join us as we bid farewell to our Music Director, Patrick Botti after the 4:00pm Mass on Saturday, July 27 in the back of church. If you can help us bake for this reception, please call Sharon in the parish office or simply bring with you on the 27th. See you there.
