The “Rooted in Jesus Christ” Adult Faith Formation com-munity invites you to join us on a trip through Salvation History. Through a prayerful reading and discussion of Sr. Rosena Marie’s book — The Mystery & Destiny of the Church: God’s plan for Our Salvation we will be drawn into a deeper understanding of God’s providential care for the whole human race.

Bishop DiMarzio invites all to join him in this year’s Annual Catholic Charities Collection. The collection takes place at all Christmas Masses. Please return the special Catholic Charities envelope from your envelope packet with your gift. If you did not receive a printed envelope, we ask you to use your own blank envelope and mark it for ‘Catholic Charities’. Bishop DiMarzio urges all to join in sharing God’s love with families and children in need by giving generously to this year’s Charities Christmas collection. These individuals can find a helping hand, however, thanks to Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens. Each year, Catholic Charities provides the following services: - 1,800 children cared for in early childhood centers - 14, 000 individuals and families given immediate and long-term assistance at community centers - 7,900 individuals in prevention, refugee resettlement, and family and youth programs - 8,300 older adults given comprehensive services through neighborhood senior centers - 3,000,000 meals prepared and served for those in need - 3,750 affordable housing units for seniors, families, the formerly homeless and those with special needs Please give as generously as you can to this Collection on Christmas Day.

My Dear Parishioners, Gather with your loved ones this Christmas in the festive remembrance of the birth of Our Savior. Share in the traditional warmth of the season as joy fills the hearts of your family and friends. The celebration of the birth of Christ is a special time to recognize the love and goodness of God. He comes among us; He shares our human condition; He gives Himself to us without reserve. Our prayer this Christmas is that a deeper sense of the presence of God may be born within the faith community of our Church because with Him we can do all things. May God Bless You Always and fill your heart with His special gifts. In the peace of the Lord, Father Ralph, Father Joey, Father Albano & The Rectory Staff
