Interesting fact: I have lived and worked in Switzerland.

Message to you: Hello Year 7. I am delighted to be working with such

a fantastic year group and look forward to meeting you all. We want

to make sure you get off to a flying start at Cansfield, so please take

Interesting fact: Adore animals as well as sport!

Interesting fact: My mum is half Norwegian and my

wife (who also works at Cansfield) is Romanian. So I’m

not sure what that makes my children! Oh, and my dog

is Japanese!

Subject specialism: Creative faculty, Art and Photography.

Interesting fact: I once flew a plane over the city of Nitra in

Slovakia.

Subject specialism: Geography.

Lancaster University.

Interesting fact: I can recite the whole Greek alphabet.

strange times at the minute but keep going and we hope to

Interesting fact: I am a qualified scuba diver and have

dived all over the world.

Message to you: If you don’t succeed 1st time don’t give

up, try again. Thomas Edison developed 1000 lightbulbs

before he got one to work!

Subject specialism: Science.

Qualifications: BSc Psychology, MSc Cognitive Neuroscience.

Interesting fact: I used to have a phobia of baked beans!

Message to you: I would like to give you a big and warm welcome to

Cansfield. You are about to encounter a big change and it may feel a little

scary, but don’t worry those butterflies in your stomach will soon go

away. You are very lucky to be coming to Cansfield; everyone is kind and

caring and with help from myself, your teachers and your friends, you will

settle in in no time. Don’t worry about anything that you are unsure of

when you are here; all you have to do is ask. I can’t wait to meet you and

get to know every single one of you. Enjoy your summer and I will see you

Qualifications: 2:1 in Physical Geography, currently completing a

Masters degree.

Interesting fact: I like to go wild camping and last summer I

walked 192 miles across the country on the coast to coast trail.

age of 16.
