    Procedures to appoint external coach :

    External coaches submit a form and formalapplication letter together with supportingdocuments to the school.

    The school provides a memorandum ofunderstanding (MOU) agreed between thetwo parties. MOU relating to payment,training schedule, attendance, rules andregulations.

    Letter of application along with memorandumof understanding sent to PPD / JPN (UnitRegister).

    PPD / JPN will provide approval letter for thetraining and the validity of the appointment.

    Schools Responsibility

    The appointment of external coach must follow theprocedures set by the Registration Unit of PPD/JPN.

    External coach permission must be renewed annually.

    Review the profile before appoint. Each coach mustsubmit a profile for school reference.

    Appoint only qualified coach. Study their background.

    School may suspend coach who fail to comply with thememorandum of understanding signed between theschool and external trainers.

    Perform monitoring to the coach from time to time

    Conditions of External Coach

    Only coach who have been appointed by the school and approved bythe PPD / JPN can carry out activities in schools.

    Coach is prohibited delegate to others to train the school students.

    Coach will train students according to the number of students whohave been determined by the school.

    The school and the coach shall comply with the content of theMemorandum of Understanding (MOU).

    Coach must keep ethics as an educator, always courteous and well-dressed character and comply with all regulations, directives currentlyin force.

    The training session will not disrupt the teaching and learning processin school.

    Each training session must be attended and supervised by a teacheradvisor to avoid violation of student's honor in whatever form, directlyor indirectly. Ensure student safety is assured.

    Training conducted only for the school's student.

    All training sessions shall be held at the school only, except withwritten consent from PPD / JPN.

    Training for students from several schools combined is prohibited,except with written consent from PPD / JPN

    A training session does not exceed the specified time.

    Training conducted in the days of public holidays are prohibited if theteacher advisor can not be present for supervision and oversight.

    Coach is not allowed to collect clubs / associations fee.

    Advantages of External Coach

    Teachers can give full focus to teaching.

    students become more enthusiastic to participate in theco-curriculum

    Sport achievements of students will be more robust andcomplete because coached by the talented and qualifiedexternal coach.

    Training conducted by external trainers in schools shouldbe supported because this action can unearth new talentto compete at the national and international arena

    Disadvantage of External Coach

    The school must provide a high expense to appoint anexternal coach.

    teachers become less active in co-curriculum and could

    not master the skills of sports

    lack of training time caused external coach cant trainstudents properly.

    lack of sports facilities in schools cause the trainingprocess not effective.
