Important Notes for Tutors

Candidates must begin the assessment with the computer workstation and printer in ashut-down state.

Candidates must use a password to gain access to the data. This may be required eitherthrough a system or network login procedure, or through a password-protected datafile,whichever is most appropriate to the centre’s facilities.

Candidates should be given the password and told the step number at which it will be needed.

Candidates will need to access the file agenda26, supplied by OCR in .txt format. Tutorsmay import and resave this file in a format appropriate for the software to be used.

This file should be placed on an area of the file system (network, local or floppy) wherecandidates must use the find file facility (or equivalent) to locate it.
