Transition and Next Year’s Classes In order to best support our children with their move up to their next class, we will be holding transition after half term. Children will be spending time in their new classes with their new class teachers in order to prepare them for September. We will continue to stream for Maths and English in some classes, as we currently do. The children will come into school through their usual school door. They will be taken to the hall and dismissed with their new class teacher. At the end of the day, children will return to their old class teacher and leave school through their usual exit. Transition will take place every Monday and Tuesday after half term. Our new Reception children will also be joining us on these days to support their transition into our school. Year 4 took part in workshops to develop their resilience and wellbeing. They enjoyed learning about how to ’bounce back’ when something has upset them, and discussed things that they are grateful for. One of our children has won the Bolton Schools ICT Online Safety Competition! Well done to Aisha N from Year 5B for her fantastic online safety computer game, which she designed on 2DIY 3D on Purple Mash. The judges were amazed with the online safety messages she added into her game for players to see. Aisha has won a free trip for her class to Bolton Schools ICT for a Lego Mindstorms workshop in June — well done, Aisha! Our children have been absolutely thrilled to enjoy their smiley reward this half term of the circus! Lots of fun was had by all. Transition and Next Year’s Classes

In order to best support our children with their move up to their next class, we will be holding transition after half term. Children will be spending time in their new classes with their new class teachers in order to prepare them for

Year 4 took part in workshops to develop their resilience and wellbeing. They enjoyed learning

Competition! Well done to Aisha N from Year 5B for her fantastic online

safety computer game, which she designed on 2DIY 3D on Purple Mash.
