The Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship engages with clubs within the university, organizations in the community, and local professionals to help students and entrepreneurs. Below is a list of some of the organizations that are available to you through the Ozmen Center. Assess License Launch -This program is designed to educate business owners and entrepreneurs on how to assess their ven- ture prior to licensing and launch. In this workshop, experts join with city officials to present relevant information that will expedite the business licensing process. Adams Hub - Adams Hub is a collab- orative workspace located in downtown Carson City that offers everything from educational tools and business services to an extensive network of mentors and service providers. Small Business Development Center- The Small Business Development Center is a statewide assitance outreach program located here at the University of Nevada, Reno. The purpose of the center is to guide and assist entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses. Bridgewire- Bridgewire is a member-fund- ed, non-profit Makerspace/Hackerspace/ Workshop located in Sparks, NV serving the Reno-Sparks area. Entrepreneurs Assembly - EA is a non-profit dedicated to educating and facilitating entrerpeneurs in creating and growing their business.

Entrepreneurship Club - The Entrepre-neurship Club is a learning-by-doing environment where students can cultivate their entrepreneurship skills and incubate a business idea. The club provides students with learning opportunities to develop and mold ideas into products and services.

EDAWN- The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, or EDAWN, acts as an ecosystem catalyst connecting entrepreneurs to resources and supporting programs and events that impact entrepre-neurs at every stage of their journey.

Elevate Blue - Elevate Blue is a startup accelerator located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Elevate Blue offers a space for entrepreneurs to work in Beautiful Lake Tahoe as well as regular networking trips to Silicon Valley.

Entrepreneurship Nevada - EN supports Entrepreneurial Support Organizations and individuals by fostering communication, collaboration and education.

Entrepreneurs’ Organization - The Entre-preneurs Organization, or EO, is a global network of more than 8,000 business own-ers. The EO objective is to support, educate and encourage entrepreneurs to succeed in building their companies.

Girlmade - The goal of Girlmade is to encourage women to want leadership and business skills. Girlmade teaches women the importance of both hard and soft skills in the business world, as well as how to approach starting their own businesses.

House of Genius- The goal of House of Genius is to assemble interesting, diverse groups of people to focus their collec-tive creativity and experience to explore, discuss and solve important problems of entrepreneurship.

Ignite Reno- Ignite offers presentations by lively and energetic personalities ranging in topics from history, technology, mining, comedy, finance and more.

1 Million Cups - Every week entrepreneurs present startups to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs at Swill Coffee. Presenters prepare a 6-minute educational presentation and then engage in 20 minutes of feedback and questioning.

The Innevation Center - The Innevation center is a 65,000 square foot collaborative workspace and community event venue where entrepreneurs can not only work but also learn and receive one-on-one help with their idea.

NCET - NCET is a member supported non-profit organization that produces events to help individuals and businesses explore and use technology.

The Ozmen Center - The Ozmen Center houses meetings & events and is otherwise a place that “facilitates entrepreneurship,” connecting people to business & entrepre-neurial resources on and off the University of Nevada campus.

Reno Accelerator Fund - Funded by the City of Reno, The Reno Accelerator Fund makes convertible note investments in Reno’s most promising early stage start-ups.

Reno Angels- The Reno Angels are a group of accredited investors dedicated to provid-ing equity capital to early and mid-stage entrepreneurial companies. Our primary focus is on companies based in Northern Nevada.

Reno Collective - Reno Collective is a collab-orative workspace for designers, creatives, technologists, entrepreneurs, freelancers, rocket scientists and startups.

SCORE - Reno SCORE provides free and con-fidential business advice to entrepreneurs working to start new businesses as well as grow existing businesses. Reno SCORE also offers a Start-Up Basics seminar sevarl times a month.

Sierra Angels- Sierra Angels is an angel investment group founded at North Lake Tahoe in 1997. Our Membership consists of 50 highly experienced executives and entrepreneurs who provide funding, mentoring and strategic introductions for early-stage technology companies.

Sontag Competition - The SontagEntrepreneurship Competition awards $50,000 to the winning University ofNevada, Reno student team. Thecompetition is geared to helping students create real businesses to launch.

Startup Digest - The Startup Digest is a per- sonalized newsletter for all things startup in the Reno-Tahoe Area as well as around the world.

Startup Weekend - This platform hosts 54 hour events at a grassroots level in Reno to educate aspiring entrepreneurs by immers-ing them in the process of moving an idea to market.

Summit VMS - Summit Venture Mentoring Service makes the necessary connections between entrepreneurs and new ventures with a team of experienced mentors to produce high growth companies.

TMCC Entrepreneurship Club- The primary mission of the E-Club is to inspire and encourage entrepreneurship among TMCC students, while offering an open environment to exchange ideas and create networks with the support of faculty.

Tahoe Silicon Mountain- The main purpose of Tahoe Silicon Mountain is to organize local in-person networking meetings and also allow for online networking of like minded people.

DeLaMare Library- The DeLaMare Library offers a place to work as well as a maker-space and workshops to all UNR students, faculty, and staff as well as any member of the greater Nevada community.

Reno Rebuild Fund- This is a fund that once a year selects one idea from a Reno-based individual to receive a small business loan to make their dream a reality and restore faith in local small business owners and Reno’s potential as a thriving and lucrative home for small businesses in general.

The Young Professionals Network- YPN offers networking events for Young Profes-sionals in the Reno-Tahoe area.

The Generator- The Generator offers industrial equipment and tools, a powerful network of creative minds, 3 phase power, and 34,000 square feet of workspace to entrepreneurs and artists in the Reno-Tahoe area.

TEDX UNR- In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
