Please grab a date from the big white boards in the lobby, or contact Lisa Nyenhuis-K/5, or Chris Mulder-P/S. !Preschool: Key Question: What is better than gold? Bottom Line: The Bible is better than gold! Memory Verse: "Your teachings are worth more to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver." Psalm 119:72, NCV. Bible Story: The Bible tells me to look for ways to help others. !K-5th: Kids begin in the Worship Center for Praise and worship, and then go to the Student Space. K-5th kids will be participating in our summer large group format, and the lesson will be the same message that is being heard in the Worship Center. !GEMS Volunteers Needed: River Rock’s GEMS program (for girls ages Kindergarten - 5th grade) is looking for a few additional volunteers for our upcoming season. GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. Meetings are twice a month on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Jen DenOuden. !!

MOPS: River Rock is excited to announce that we are planning our 2nd year of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)! This is a program designed to bring moms with kids (birth~kindergarten) together for friendship, authentic community, support and growth. The theme for this year will be “Free Indeed.” As we look forward to a September kick-off, we are looking for some special individuals to help. If you are a mom of older children and would like to share wisdom and experience with us or are willing to assist with childcare, we would love to chat with you! Please continue to lift this ministry up in prayer and consider providing financial support as we seek to grow, reach out and minister to young families in the community! Support the Land Campaign with TRIP: During the past year, 4 people have participated in the Eagle TRIP program at Rockford Christian Schools. RRC received a check for $541 towards our Land Campaign! What is TRIP? You can purchase gift cards to local stores and for on-line purchases, and receive a % back that can be designated to River Rock Church. This is a very easy way to earn money for the Land Campaign while still making the purchases that you normally would. The TRIP office is open in Rockford Christian Schools on Tuesday mornings till 10:00 am. Alternately, you can pick up a TRIP form from the Info Table and have office staff fill it for you.

Set-up and Tear Down Teams: Each week there is a team that comes early to “set-up church” and another team that stays after church to return the building to “school ready”. These are important teams that help make our relationship with Rockford Christian School work. Would you consider blessing River Rock and Rockford Christian by serving on one of these teams? Your commitment is once a month. Please contact Jeanne Maher for more information. !
