The company DWT is a family owned company, located in the industrial heart of Germany. The head-quarter is situated in Bottrop, where production and central stock is located. The company was founded 1987 as main supplier of the German mining companies. Nowadays we deliver products all over the world to different markets and for many different applications. Today we are focussing on the following business units:
• Sales & Service of industrial production equipment in the German market
• Production and sales of nitrogen generators for diffe-rent applications
• Production and sales of pipe beveling equipment under licence of BABCOCK worldwide
DWT Babcock
Ten years ago DWT has taken over the production of pipe beveling machines from the German steam boiler manufacturer „Deutsche Babcock“, who has developed the machines based on their on-site experience of their own engineers. The advan-tagesoflowweightandahighdegreeofflexibilityandcapacityprovedtheproductacceptability in the market. The ergonomic design for on-site use and low spare part need added to the advantage and created an unique product range.
Boiler Manufacturing Seminar
In this seminar effective solutions for productive manufacturing and repair of water wall boilers, water wall panels headers and heat exchangers have been presented. Theoretical lectures and practical demonstrations combined with factory visits made the seminar to a unique event for the boiler industry. In 2009 the seminar took place in Finland and already more than 80 boiler manufacturers were part of it. Also in the year 2011 a seminar took place in Essen, Germany in the factory of DWT GmbH. More than 100 steam boiler manufacturers from more than 30 countries and 5 continents have been invited by DWT.

The TiN duplex inserts are coated with titanium nitrid and are field-provensincemanyyears.Duetogeometryandcuttingedge of the insert they do a lotter better job than standard solid bits. Easy to be turned or changed on-site the extremely durable bits assure low costs, more precise operations by ge-nerating less heat and faster cut times increases productivity. Different bevel tools are combined in the tool holder to achieve the perfect result in weld preparation of the boiler tubepanel.Injustoneoperationthefinalongthepipecanbe removed and the boiler tube is beveled. High Output Panel Production in Mass Production
The panel welding line with two stationary panel welding ma-chines is designed for mass production of water tube panels. Theflexibleandmodulardesignofthelinemeansitcanbebuilt according to customer requirements. A line with a double stationary welding machine system produces up to over 3000 meters of weld in one shift.
The panel welding line with two welding machines and inte-gratedtubeandfin-barprefabricationsystemsisacompletepackage for high-productivity requirements. The line can be utilized with all necessary components for water tube wall pa-nel production from raw material handling to ready-welded panels. Standard panel widths are 2000, 2500 and 2700 mm. Other widths are also available on request. The length of the panel is set accor-ding to the customer needs.

Often pipe stands for pipe welding are still built in the workshop. Bet-ter, more safe and cheaper is the purchase of a professional pipe stand. The marking of pipes and the preparation of pipe ends for wel-ding becomes much easier. We offer a huge range of pipe stands for each pipe handling application for pipes with a weight up to 2 t.
Pipe stands
The Cricket pipe cart is for pipes up to 0,4 t and 6,1 m length. It is perfect for transport of material on-site and is delivered directly with lashing strap and fail-safe tyres.
Pipe carts
With pipe welding clamps easy installation and alignment of the pipes for welding is provided. Very well suited for use with different pipe materials like aluminum or stainless steel.
