Greetings Brothers and Women of the Moose Hope this finds everyone in good spirits and good health. Moosehaven Day – Florida Day will be held Sunday at Moosehaven March 20, 2016. I have tickets and they are only $10.00 each, which includes Bar B Que lunch and free draft beer. Drawing for first prize $500.00, second prize $300.00, third prize $100.00 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Please come and join us for this nice day at Moosehaven. Please see me to purchase tickets. District Sports will be held at our Lodge on Saturday March 12, 2016. The monthly District Meeting will be held at our Lodge on Sunday 1 p.m. March 13, 2016. We need the LOOM & WOTM to donate and bring side dishes and desserts. Please come to the meeting and help us with your donations for the event. The LOOM election for officers for 2016 – 2017 will be held at the Lodge in the Lobby area on April 5, 2016 from 4 – 7 p.m. Candidates will be announced and we ask the LOOM to please come out to vote. The roof project for our Tiki Bar at the pool has been finalized. This looks very nice and we will be making plans for events around the poolside for the spring and summer months. Please come out and enjoy your Lodge.

SENIOR REGENT’S RAMBLINGS. Thank you to all that have offered their time to help out in the lodge. March activities: March 3th - nomination committee meeting at 630; WOTM meeting to follow. March 19

th - Kids Easter Party; sign up in the lobby.

Our year is over half way and now it is time to start thinking about our elections. If you are interested in running for any of the positions please turn your name into one of the Officers that are currently on the Board or into the locked WOTM box. The positions that are available are Senior Regent, Junior Regent, Secretary, and Recorder. You can research the position responsibilities on the International website. All the Co-workers are invited to a meeting and see what the WOTM are all about. Not only do we help Moosehaven and Mooseheart, we also have other charities that we support. It is really a good feeling knowing there are people and organizations that we can help. Our meetings are always on the 1st and 3rd Thursday nights of each month at 7pm. Any WOTM member in good standing is more than welcome to come join the meetings. The Chapter Officers meeting is

Monday at 7pm prior to the Planning meeting of every month. Please keep in mind that all written proposals need to be turned in prior to the officers meeting for them to be addressed in a timely manner. ADMINISTRATOR’S THOUGHTS Mandarin Lodge 42 is on a membership drive. Anyone who sponsors a new male member into the Lodge will receive $25.00 in Moose-bucks for each member that is accepted. Moose-bucks can be used to purchase food or drinks. Help grow our membership. This membership drive will continue until further notice. $1000.00 Life Memberships are available for only $500.00 but this program may end soon so take advantage of it while it lasts.

MOOSE RIDERS Hello everyone….the first few months of the year have been busy….but being a Lodge, we are always busy doing fun stuff. We would like to take a moment to welcome some new Moose Members and Riders and a couple are from Lodge 455…thank you for checking us out and rolling with us. A big welcome to : Cindy Bertagni, Dana Peterson, Dawn & Robert Ripley, Jennifer Graham and Zachery Graham. The Mandarin 42 Riders were officially presented the FSYR Star Lifetime Plaque at the District meeting on February 21

st at Moosehaven by Clay County Sheriff

Rick Beseler and Under Sheriff Craig Aldrich. Debi Girard from the Ranch was also there who is also a Mandarin Moose Rider. The plaque is in recognition of the Mandarin 42 Moose Riders’ contributions to the Ranch. It is a great honor to receive the plaque and we are proud to say we are Moose Riders and making a difference in children’s lives. But as you all know it is for the children and we love supporting them. The Riders also participated in a benefit Poker Run for Janine Walton’s Grandson, Travis who was diagnosed

with Leukemia. Janine is a Moose member from the North Jax Lodge and also does the Lodges Moose Tracks and other email blasts. The Riders met little Travis and he is one tough little guy who has a long road ahead of him. The Riders along with the LOOM and WOTM were able to present the family with a monetary donation. Big Thanks to Steve and Teri Brown for donating their time to have music at North Jax Lodge It was a fun ride with some great food served. Again, all that we do is made possible by Moose Members coming out and supporting our Bingo (all profits go to charity), so if you haven’t already done so, come on out on a Wednesday at 7 p.m. and try your luck, and you may even have some fun!!! We have a great crew and Sam and Linda are doing a fantastic job calling the numbers.

I would also like to Thank Lake Shore #2020 for their generous donation. It is most appreciated. Debbie, Paula, Ley, ya'll did a beautiful job on all the raffle baskets and I know that was a lot of hard work involved also, Charlie, Donna, Julie & Mike and everyone else, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for everything. Spring is here at last and it’s an exciting time. In the next few months we’ll be bringing you some new bands and getting ready for a fun summer. This month we’ve got DJ’s Robert Foskey, Karaoke Joe, Tony Cortez and Sandy Kelly. Our Moosehaven guests will be back with Downtown Brown as the host. Don’t forget every Thursday is Open Mic with Dan Lopes and his great musicians. We have some great bands again this month. The Chris Tyler band will be back along with a new band called Street Legal. And a great duo will join us, The Clinton Lane Darnell and Shayne Rammler Band. What a great time we are having here at 42, singing and dancing with all of our friends. There is always room for more so invite some friends to come have a great time. Thanks to all the wonderful people who support entertainment. We’ll see you at 42. Let the good times roll………………
