Palm Beach Opera Announces 2021 Chorus Auditions
WEST PALM BEACH – Chorus auditions for Palm Beach Opera’s 20-21 season will be held on Friday, Apr. 3 and Satur-
day, Apr. 4.The Palm Beach Opera
Chorus will be featured prominently in the com-pany’s 20-21 season rep-
ertoire, which includes Giacomo Puccini’s “La bohème,” Georges Bizet’s “Les pêcheurs de perles,” Vincenzo Bell ini’s “I
Capuleti e i Montecchi,” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Die Zauber-flöte.”
Auditions are by ap-pointment only, and ap-plicants must complete and submit the audition request form by March 27. The form may be found at pbopera.org/chorusaudi-tions.
Auditions are avail-able for male and female singers ages 18 and older. Professional singers with training and experience with operatic literature and performance, and availability for evening and weekend work from November through April, are encouraged to apply for this paid opportunity.
For the audition, all singers must prepare two classical songs or arias, with at least one in a foreign language, prefer-ably Italian, French or German. A pianist will be provided at the audition.
