Sabajón is a typical drink par excellence of our country drunk at Christmas. It is very similar to eggnog prepared in North America, but it contains either white rum or Colombian
aguardiente.
Masato is a drink made of rice or corn . It is fermented in a pot of
water about 8 days until the mixture turns into a foamy drink.
Paipa cheese is made by the masters of cheese craft. It has an attractive
colour and a delicious taste. People from Paipa usually eat this cheese with traditional hot drinks
such as chocolate , coffee with milk and agua de panela. They also eat this cheese as a snack with guava jelly or
arequipe.
