Scanning:High-speed gateway to digital document management

As network scanner with a scanning speed up to approx. 32 originals per

minute (A4 size), DP-8032/8025 is the key to bringing your office into age of

digital document distribution. Once scanned, sending documents to an FTP

server, a PC on the LAN or even as an email attachment is easy right from

the console with the intuitive interface. The convenient “File Naming” feature

lets you assign a name to scanned files for easy identification. Of course,

scanned documents are clear and crisp thanks to high-resolution scanning

up to up to 600 x 600dpi with 256 gray scale halftone, and can be reprinted

with near-original quality. Equipped with an inverting ADF unit, 2-sided

scanning up to A3-size multiplies productivity. Above all, everyone in the

office can immediately take advantage of network scanning right at their

desktop with the Quick Image Navigator software for importing images from

a network scanner and managing loaded images.

With the optional fax communication kit, DP-8032/8025 becomes a high-

performance fax station with fast 33.6 kbps Super G3 fax capability acceler-

ated by 0.7-sec “Quick Scanning” and Quick Memory Transmission. When you

key in a number over 6 digits, it automatically treats it as fax number and

switches to fax mode.

Leverage your network with Internet Faxing

Built-in Internet Fax capability lets users to scan documents as TIFF images

or PDF files and transmit them as email attachments right from the console.

With “Scan-to-Email”, you can send scanned documents to other Internet

Fax-capable platforms or email clients anywhere in the world. The connectiv-

ity of the DP-8032/8025 also makes it a fax/email gateway that can automati-

cally route incoming faxes to the recipient’s email inbox. This same gateway

can also be used to send documents directly from Panafax Deskto software

installed in the user's PC to G3 fax machines around the world.

and Call” enables our service centers to stay on top of your printer status and

performance. When toner is running low or if any mechanical problems need

attention, the built-in automatic report function automatically notifies our

service center. To further reduce time for any repairs, the Remote Diagnostic

System lets our technicians to quickly identify problems and have the right

solution when they arrive at your office.

Document Distribution SystemCombined with the DP-8032/8025, the optional Document

Distribution System completes your digital document sharing

solution. Once paper documents are scanned and converted

to digital data, this system can route those documents via fax,

email, ftp, or send them to a network folder, a web based

folder or even directly to a PC’s desktop. With an integrated

OCR function, the digital documents can be transformed into

text-searchable documents. Centrally stored and managed

documents can easily be shared by users right from their

desktop using familiar browser software.
