RentalsThe Paola Community Center has a variety of different sized rooms to rent for your meeting, conference, office, event, or party needs. They are as follows:
GILMAN ROOM - This room is the former “Green room”. It is used for actors, musicians, and other performers prior to going on stage. The Gilman room is also used for brides and bridesmaids to get ready prior to the wedding. It comes complete with tables and chairs for up to 10 people, a vanity, mirror, and an antique piano. The room is named after Mary Gilman, a patroness of the Arts and a benefactress of the Paola Community Center. $30/day
AMBASSADOR’S ROOM – This room holds up to 20 people and is located on the north end of the PCC’s lower level. It is mainly used for board meetings, small parties and family gatherings. It has direct access to the kitchen making it ideal for small dinners as well. $75/day
THE KITCHEN – This is our full service kitchen remodeled in 2011. Included with the kitchen are coffee pots, stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, plates, cups and utensils. It can be rented alone or it is also included with the rental of either the Ambassadors room or the International room. $25/day
INTERNATIONAL ROOM – Located on the lower level, this is a large meeting/party room holding up to 225 people. This room is mainly used for parties, receptions, dinners, and even larger events such as sales, conferences, and boutiques. It comes complete with tables, chairs, podium, and access to the kitchen and buffet carts. $108/day
SCHWARTZ FAMILY THEATER – This room has been called a “jewel” for the community of Paola. It is a beautiful historic theater that holds 299 people. It can used for concerts, movies, theatre shows, dance recitals, political forums, and weddings. Renovated in 2009, it comes complete with surround sound, Blu-ray/DVD access, microphones, full-stage width movie screen, and original stage backdrops. $180/day
OFFICES – The Paola Community Center has 11 offices for lease. Each one is approximately 100 square feet, and comes with electrici-ty, zoned-controlled heating & cooling, and has the ability for internet and phone connections. $150/month

WeddingsThe Paola Community Center is a beautiful and historic building on a 26 acre campus in Paola. Weddings at the Paola Communi-ty Center include space for the wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, space for up to 300 people for the wedding and a large reception room for the reception and two dressing rooms with direct access to the stage. Food can be brought in or catered by a local restaurant.

Children’s ‘20 Movie Series
KANSAS DAY –Kansas Day is a business expo sponsored by the Paola Chamber of Commerce each year the last Saturday in January. This event takes place at the Paola Middle School on Saturday, Jan. 25th from 9-1pm and will highlight businesses, showcase local talent, and celebrate Paola as the birthplace of Kansas Day.

PRAIRIE WIND ACOUSTICS -Prairie Wind has 6 members, Gale Seibert, Lonny Hinote, Bobby Thompson, Judy Minden, Rachel Reimer, and Paul Stamper. The instruments range from guitar to fiddle to mandolin, bass, banjo, to ukulele and even harmonica. We play styles of music from country to classical to bluegrass to rock & roll and some songs fall between the cracks. Age span is from 14 to we’re not telling how old, but some of us still remember the depression! We have fun sharing our music and you will have fun hearing it. Promise!

“Absolutely Country, Definitely Gospel” - was voted Branson’s #1 Dinner Show. A perfect blend of country voices and great gospel mu-sic. Admission is free, Love offering taken. This show takes place on Saturday, March 21st at 6pm at the Paola Community Center.
PAOLA ROOTSFEST -Even though this event does not take place at the Paola Communi-ty Center, we would be remiss if we did not mention Paola’s largest annual event that occurs each year on the Paola park square. This is a weekend full of quality live music from all over the country perform-ing right here in the heart of Paola on August 28/29th.
