2010 will be a year of great presence of history throughout Latin America. 200 years ago, in 1810, exploded at various points in the Spanish dominions creole revolutions. So Mexico, Co-lombia, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela this year commemorating its bicentennial. And Mexico is undoubtedly one of the most interesting processes historical studied.
The bicentenary of Mexico will be held on September 16, 2010.While this is not really the anni-versary of the independence of Mexico (who arrived in 1821) was the beginning of the rebellion against Spanish colonial system.
That September 16, 1810, during the morning, the insurrection broke out called group of “con-spirators of Querétaro.” The priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, one of its members, was the one who called the people of Dolores to rebellion. That night Hidalgo delivered the famous “Grito de Dolores”, “Viva la Virgen de Guadalupe! Down with bad government! Viva Fernando VII! “.
After the “Grito de Dolores” went to the town jail. Together with a small group of farmers, of virtually no military experience and carrying an improvised weapon, took the fort. He took some arms and departed Hidalgo with his army of peasants to Atotonilco el Grande. In Atotonilco took as a banner of the revolutionary struggle of the Virgen de Guadalupe, which is considered the first Mexican flag.
His path took him then to San Miguel el Grande, where the rebel soldiers converged Abasolo and Allende. It was the beginning of the long struggle for independence from Mexico , would not finish until 1821.
