Nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina, sus comienzos fueron a los 21 años, junto a su padre, Eduardo Calcagno director de cine y publicidad, como asistente de cámara y dirección de fotografía. A los pocos años, comenzó su carrera como fotógrafo fijo, atraído especialmente por la moda, lentamente fue traba-jando para distintas editoriales de su ciudad natal.
A la edad de 26, decide viajar en busca de más conocimientos a la ciudad de New York.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Self-taught, Estevan started at the side of his father, a movie director, as a camera assistant at the age of 21. A few years later, he decided to move into photography, and started to work in the fashion and portraits area.

A la edad de 26, decide viajar en busca de más conocimientos a la ciudad de New York, donde permanece por 8 años, trabajando y asistiendo distin-tos fotógrafos mundialmente reconocidos como Richard Avedon, Steven Meisel, Nathaniel Goldberg, Max Vadukul entre otros, en producciones de nivel mundial y más alto de la moda, para diseñadores como Versace, Prada, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Max Mara, Calvin Klein etc... y editoriales como Italian Vogue, W Magazine, American Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan entre otras ...
En el año 2005 decide tomarse 2 años para dedicarse a su otra pasión, la música, junto a su hermano Lukas Calcagno, se muda a México, y luego a Argentina, donde regresa con toda su experiencia y conocimientos a traba-jar nuevamente como fotógrafo de moda.
Hoy en día, Estevan tiene su base en México y viaja constantemente a reali-zar producciones a todas partes del mundo.

Coco’s Cat Rescue, es una organización benéfica de Playa del Carmen, de rescate de gatos, centrado en la esterilización de los animales, el cuidado y el realojamiento de los gatitos. Ofrecemos esterilizar gratis o a bajo costo y cirugías para los residentes locales, así como las vacunaciones y el cui-dado de los animales de base. Hasta ahora hemos rescatado 167 gatitos, 155 de los cuales han sido correctamente esterilizados / castrados y re-alojados. 12 gatitos siguen en adopción, (por favor, póngase en contacto con nosotros si tiene interés en proporcionar un hogar amoroso para ellos.) En sus esfuerzos por reducir la población local de rescate de gatos, esta organización ejecuta un programa por el cual ahora han atrapado, esteri-lizado / castrado más de 210 gatos callejeros.

Foundations:Coco’s Cat Rescue
Coco’s Cat Rescue is a Playa del Carmen rescue charity focusing on the spay and neuter of feral cats and the care and re-homing of kittens in need of rescue. We provide free or low-cost spay and neuter surgeries to local residents, as well as vaccinations and basic animal care. So far we have rescued 167 kittens 155 of which have been successfully spayed/neutered and re-homed. 12 kittens are still up for adoption, (please contact us if you have an interest in providing a loving home for them.) In striving to reduce the local cat population Coco’s Cat Rescue runs a TNR( trap spay/neuter return) program and so far have trapped, spayed/neu-tered over 210 feral cats.

También 130 propietarios de gatos que no pueden pagar la operación de sus mascotas se han utilizado nuestras instalaciones (de forma gratuita o con carácter de donación abierta.) Ahora estamos trabajando con 5 veteri-narios locales en Playa del Carmen que ofrecen sus servicios de forma gra-tuita. Es debido a estos veterinarios maravillosos, sólo tenemos que pagar los medicamentos y equipos. Sin embargo, esto sigue siendo un costo con-siderable!
Coco’s Cat Rescue, está entusiasmado de poder seguir prestando los ser-vicios y cuidados para los gatos de la Riviera Maya, y está deseando am-pliar y mejorar nuestros programas de ayuda de extensión.

Also 130 cat owners who could not afford the operation on their pets themselves have used our facility (for free or on an open donation basis.) We are now working with 5 local vets here in Playa del Carmen who offer services free of charge. It is because of these wonderful vets that we only have to pay for medicines and equipment. However this is still a considerable cost!Coco’s Cat Rescue is excited about being able to continue to provide the care and services for the cats of Riviera Maya and is looking forward to expanding and improving our outreach aid programs.

En el Caribe Mexicano, entre la exuberancia de la selva tropical, playas de blanca arena y mar turquesa, se encuentra la antigua Ciudad Maya de Tulúm con su maravillosa cultura histórica.
Está ubicada en la Península de Yucatán, en el Estado de Quintana Roo, 145 Km. Al sur de Cancún.
Para conocer bien se la puede dividir en: el poblado de Tulúm, que reci-entemente adquirió el título oficial de Ciudad, el sitio arqueológico y la zona hotelera de la playa.
Además a su alrededor existen otros sitios arqueológicos y varios lugares naturales de gran atracción turística, como son los cenotes, lagunas, al-gunos otros parques recreativos y la reserva natural de Sian Ka ´an, la cual fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco y en la cual se pueden hallar casi todos los ecosistemas de la Península de Yucatán-marinos, costeros y terrestres-. Un poco más retirado se encuentran otros sitios arqueológicos de gran importancia como lo son: Cobá, que está a 42 Km. de Tulúm y en la misma dirección se halla una de las maravillas del mundo maya: Chichén Itzá.

In the Mexican Caribbean nestled between the exuberance of the tropical jungle, the white sand beaches and the turquoise sea lies the enigmatic and ancient Maya city of Tulúm whit its wonderful culture and history. It is located 145 Km. south of Cancun, on the Yucatán Penin-sula, in the State of Quintana Roo. I order to get well acquainted with Tulúm, it can be divided into: the town of Tulúm, which re-cently acquired the official title “City”, the archaeological site and the hotel zone on the beach.I addition, there are other archaeological site and several natural tourist attractions such as the cenotes, the lagoons, a number of amusement parks , and the Sian Ka ´an nature reserve, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and which can be found nearly all ecosystems of the Yucatan Peninsula and marine, coastal and land -.A bit farther away are other archaeological sites of great importance such as: Cobá, which is 42 Km. northeast of Tulúm and 159 Km. in the same direction, is one of the wonders of the ancient Maya world: Chichén Itzá.

Todos los años, en temporada de arribazón, miles de tortugas desovan en sus playas. Quienes reciben la protección de las autoridades y asociaciones dedicadas a salvaguardar la naturaleza.
Existen varios campamentos tortugueros donde protegen los nidos hasta la eclosión de los huevos y se liberan las tortuguitas. Es un espe-ctáculo inolvidable para los visitantes.
Cada año, durante el mes de octubre, en Tulúm se cel-ebra el Festival de la Tortuga Marina, durante tres días se llevan a cabo eventos culturales y artísticos. Se hace limpieza de playas, y el último día se realiza una ceremonia donde se libera a miles de tortuguitas

Every year during the nesting season, thousands of turtles lay their eggs on its beaches. The turtles in the area are protected by the local authorities as well as by associations dedicated the protect nature. There are several turtles farms where every season their nest are protected until the eggs hatch and the baby turtles are released into the sea. It is an unforgettable spectacle for the visitors.Each year, during the month of October, Tulúm celebrates the Festival of the Sea Turtles; there are cultural and artistic events during three days.The beaches are cleaned and the last day, a ceremony where the community liberates thou-sands of baby turtles takes place.

Tulúm es una pequeña ciudad sobre la carretera y a lo largo de 15 Km. Se formó la avenida principal del entonces pueblo, y es actualmente donde se desarrolla toda su actividad comercial
Tulúm es una de las zonas arqueológicas más espectaculares y misteriosas del mundo maya. Construido sobre un acantilado en el centro ceremonial de esta ciudad, destaca por su majestuosidad y altura “El Castillo”, alrededor se encuentran otros edificios rodeados por una muralla que protege la zona por los lados norte, sur y oeste, la parte del este queda abierta hacia el Mar Caribe, pero está protegida por un acantilado de doce metros de altura. Hay quienes afirman que el nombre Tulúm proviene de la palabra maya que significa muralla. Sus antiguos pobla-dores la llamaban Zama, que quiere decir amanecer, debido a que su situación geográ-fica permite con-templar la salida del sol durante todo el año. Con una con-strucción tipo pala-cio, la Casa de las Columnas cuenta con una entrada principal orientada hacia el sur donde hay cuatro colum-nas. En su interior se encuentran seis más que soportan el techo de la gran sala bajo el cual se encuentra el san-tuario.
Tulúm is one of the most spectacular and mysterious Maya archaeological sites. Built above a cliff overlooking the ocean in this city´s ceremonial center, lies the magnificent “The Castle”, other buildings are surrounded by a stone wall which protects the site to the north, south and west, the east side is open towards the Caribbean Sea, which is protected by a cliff twelve-meter-high cliff. Some argue that the name of Tulúm derives from Mayan word meaning wall. Its former inhabitants called it Zama, or “down “which, because its geographical location al-lows you to contemplate the sun rising throughout the whole year. The House of Columns is built like a palace, its main entrance faces the south and is designed with four columns. Inside there are six more that support the roof of the hall under which is the sanctuary.The Temple of God is very important because of the cult to Maya god Itzinmá whose image is depicted upside down.

El Templo del Dios Descendiente es muy importante debido al culto que se le practicaba al dios Itzinmá, cuya imagen aparece de cabeza.
Otros edificios importantes son la Casa del Cenote, la Casa de Halach Uinic “Gran Señor”, el Templo de los Frescos, y el Templo del Dios del Viento.
Para los que gustan de mayor acción, Tulúm cuenta con infraestructura ne-cesaria para disfrutar actividades acuáticas y terrestres.
Entre las actividades acuáticas, buceo (en el arrecife o en las cavernas de los cenotes), esnorquel, kayaks, windsurf y el novedoso kitesurf, que dio pie al torneo internacional que se realiza anualmente,”Tulúm Sport Festival”.
Se pueden escoger variedad de hoteles situados en las más hermosas pla-yas o en el centro de la ciudad. Así como el más exigente paladar queda sa-tisfecho, donde existe una buena variedad gastronómica con especialidades mexicanas e internacionales.
