Renew & Rebuild Projects—Several people have asked when are we going to begin the addition to the church. The simple answer is: when we have the money. This was the major project of the Renew & Rebuild Campaign. We have completed the upgrade to the bath-rooms and improved the lighting and installed the fans in the church. Those have all been paid for. The pledge money that is given to us from the Archdiocese is given on a quarterly basis. Many of you have made five year pledges. This addition to the church will probably add up to a cost of seven figures. We have not even opened up a discussion regarding this project because any project that a parish undertakes that is over $30,000, must be done in conjunction with the Archdiocese. At this point with the monies that we have, we hope to undertake some minor projects that we had discussed during the campaign. We will keep you posted.
********* Hospice is an excellent program and resource for in-dividuals and families who are coming to the end of their days. They provide compassionate care and assistance to families at a most crucial time. Recently, we have been informed that one of their workers identifies himself as a priest and may have administered sacraments. He may be a priest but he is a priest of the Old Catholic Church, not in line with the Roman Catholic Church. Those sacra-ments are not valid. Please arrange for your local priests to administer the sacraments.
