Using your smartphone, this will be a quick and easy way to give to the General Budget of Grace UMC. Simply dial the number 803-879-4888, type in the word GIVE, skip a space, and then the amount. (ex. GIVE 100) If you’re donating through TTG for the first time, you’ll receive a text containing a link to login to your SecureGive account or to create your account if you don’t already have one. You’ll then be asked to save your default payment information for text giving and will receive an email receipt confirming your donation. The only time that you’ll have to enter login or card information is the first time that you donate through TTG. After your first transaction, your SecureGive account and card information will be recognized automatically and you’ll simply reply “Y” to confirm your transaction. You’ll receive a confirmation text as well as an email receipt. If you ever need to update any account information such as your card, you can simply text the word “update” to be sent a link.

Chiming of the Trinity (Please stand when chiming begins)
Call to Worship Rev. Tommy Wilkes O Lord, you graciously pour out your blessings on us. Your gifts surround us. Despite our abundance, help us see the widow’s gift, for we long to give as she did, Generously and Sacrificially, with a right heart. All we have is a gift from your hand. Help us loosen our hands, giving to work of this church on your behalf, for in giving freely to you, we gain the opportunity to live abundant lives! Amen Augmented From the Worship Elements page of the Ministry Matters
Processional Hymn Take My Life, and Let It Be UMH 399
Passing of the Peace (Congregation greets one another in the name of the Lord) Minister: The peace of the Lord be always with you People: And also with you
Prayer of Confession (Mark 12) Rev. Randall Haase
Lord of all, the nations are yours. The poor are your treasured ones—widows, orphans, the aliens you protect. Your justice reigns over all. Forgive us when our ways devour your ways. We don’t mean to cause harm, yet we do. Forgive us when we consume more than our fair share, all the while knowing that our excesses deny the poor the things they need to live. Forgive us for building bigger closets, and not clothing the naked. Your justice reigns over all. Forgive us when our ways devour your ways. We pray in the forgiving name of Jesus. Amen.
Words of Assurance Rev. Randall Haase
We long to mend our ways. Christ can bear these sins for all who eagerly wait for him. His sacrifice on our behalf, his grace toward us, washes us anew. Praise the Lord. Amen.
Pastoral Prayer and Lord’s Prayer (pg. 895) Rev. Randall Haase
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Hymn of Preparation Great Is Thy Faithfulness UMH 140
1 Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father; there is no shadow of turning with thee; thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not; as thou hast been thou forever wilt be. Refrain: Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see: all I have needed thy hand hath provided; Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me! 2 Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, sun, moon, and stars in their courses above join with all nature in manifold witness to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. [Refrain] 3 Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide, strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! [Refrain]

Hymn of Commitment Softly and Tenderly UMH 348 Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, calling for you and for me; see, on the portals he's waiting and watching, watching for you and for me.
Refrain: Come home, come home; ye who are weary come home; earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, O sinner, come home!
Why should we tary when Jesus is pleading, pleading for you and for me? Why should we linger and heed not his mercies, mercies for you and for me? (Refrain)
Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing, passing from you and from me; shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming, coming for you and for me. (Refrain)
O for the wonderful love he has promised, promised for you and for me! Though we have sinned, he has mercy and pardon, pardon for you and for me. (Refrain)

in honor of Matthew Berry and Family By Frank and Gloria Berry
1 Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee. Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise. Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of thy love. Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for thee. 2 Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King. Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from thee. Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold. Take my intellect, and use every power as thou shalt choose.
3 Take my will, and make it thine; it shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is thine own; it shall be thy royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour at thy feet its treasure-store. Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for thee.
