Author Richard Louv popularized the term “nature deficit disorder” in 2005 in a book that argued children were spending less time outdoors. The Garden has the antidote for nature deficit disorder, and it delivers it in spectacular fashion. These often sell-out events for families are all fun on the surface, but deep down, they reveal to children the importance of the natural world.
