The essence of Parts & Labour catering is derived from our Parkdale restaurant of the same name that attracts a young professional crowd that enjoys great food, drinks and the Toronto nightlife scene. Our res-taurant embodies our catering philosophy. With a strong emphasis on bringing rustic comfort food with a touch of elegance to our catering menus, our clients can expect a wide range of catering styles; from casual street food fare stations to beautifully composed canapés for receptions and of course seated dinners of all types with taste and presentation always being our main focus. With our knowledgeable catering and event planning staff, your guests will constantly be engaged in all aspects of the catering and event itself. P&L Catering not only operates within our 3 downtown venues but also has a full service planning team to coordi-nate offsite events. Our planning portfolio is comprised of summer festivals, outdoor functions, weddings and of course private functions at select fabulous venues.

Established in 2010 to major acclaim as the new cultural hub of Parkdale, this design infused space boasts an haute cuisine restaurant/bar, a live-music venue on the lower level, and is available for private events. Brought to you by the young entrepreneurs behind The Social, Oddfellows and Castor, P & L offers flexibility for event styles due to its multi-faceted and open space. It’s internal design elements including exposed brick walls, Castor designed wood burning fireplace, multi-coloured bar lighting made out of repurposed fire extinguishers, and bar with corkscrew stools will only add a modern panache to any event.

THE SHOP is our multi-purpose basement event space dedicated to touring live bands and host to some of Toronto’s hot-test young DJs. This 170-person capacity room is recognized for its DIY-aesthetic and down-and-dirty party atmosphere. This versatile space can also host everything from product launch parties to stand-up comedy, book launches, office par-ties, team-building workshops, and fundraising events. The Shop is foremost low-key, casual, and fun.

This multifaceted space rotates between a weekend nightclub, live performance hall and private event venue. Minimalist in décor, it embodies beautiful exposed brick walls, a newly laid out wooden floor with ample room for staging, dancing and a semi private VIP section which can be altered to cater to various function needs. (IE: VIP space, media room and exhibit space, just to name a few.)
Due to the fact that The Hoxton is a Nightclub / Concert venue, full A/V Services are available through our partner company AfterDARK Entertainment Production.

Mirroring a traditional English Pub, which replaced Queen West’s popular Social from the same owners, Dog and Bear is a sports friendly, neighbourhood watering hole. Comfortable u-shaped booths line the east brick exposed wall, purposely set up to face the bar, which is equipped with 9 flat screen televi-sions. Dog and Bear also hosts a small private room for up to 12 guests during operating hours and is available to book or utilize as part of your event needs. Like our other venues, some A/V is already in house, and use of the existing tables and chairs are included. This is a perfect locale for office parties and social gatherings.
