February is American Heart Month and March is National Nutrition Month. Heart disease remains the #1 killer in both men and women in the U.S. One way to lower the risk is to introduce more heart-healthy foods into your diet. To raise awareness, this Passport to Good Health challenge is about bettering your heart through healthy eating.

June is Safety Month. In any situation, whether it’s work, on the road or at home, safety should always be top of mind. Accidents happen, but there are many things you can do to prevent risks and stay safe. This Passport to Good Health challenge is about encouraging safety.

Challenge: Do one thing that encourages safety

• Keeping a well-stocked first aid kit in your car and at home

• Wearing safety equipment while excercising or working

• Having a hand-ready copy of your emergency medical information

Walking is one of the easiest ways to help you live a healthier life. Even just a brisk walk a day can help prevent and manage conditions like cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Walking also helps maintain a healthy weight, strengthen your bones and muscles and improve your mood. For this Passport to Good Health challenge, get up and get walking.

Creativity isn’t just good for Halloween costumes, you can also get creative in improving your health. For this Passport to Good Health challenge, think of one thing that effects your health regime. Poor eating habits? Stress? Lack of sleep? Don’t do whatever is holding you back!

• Getting an extra hour of sleep each night
