The Grand Palace was the seat not only of the king and his court, but contained within its crenellated walls the entire government administration. The palace served as the official residence of the kings of Thailand from the 18th to the mid-20th century.

.

Wat Pho, the official name being Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklararm Rajwaramahaviharn , is a first grade

royal monastery, regarded as the most important one during the reign of King Rama I of the Chakri Dynasty. The importance of this is due to the King having managed the restoration of Wat Phodharam, an old monastery from the

Ayudhya period, and had it re-established as a royal monastery located near the Grand Palace.

Packed with market stalls, street-side restaurants, Chinese medicine stores and

probably the greatest concentration of gold shops in the city, Chinatown is an experience

not to miss. This historic area is as old as Bangkok itself, its growth spawned by waves

of Chinese immigrants who left communist China, settled down here and continued what

they did best: trade.

SHOP Bangkok's Jatujak Market – JJ for short –covering 35 acres and with some

15,000 stalls, is a fantastic place to shop for Thai handicrafts, artwork,

clothing, household goods and even pets and plants. However, shopping at Jatujak can be exhausting; the place is

sweltering, crowded, a labyrinth of stalls and easy to get lost in!

The Spa by Mspa at the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok delivers memorable spa experiences in state-of-the-art facilities. The

treatment rooms and suites and full-service beauty salon are all

designed for comfort and the ultimate in sensory experience.

The spa‟s traditional Thai architecture evokes spiritual
