ITINERARYAugust 1 – Travel Day / Jamestown, NDMeet us this morning at one of many convenient pick-up points and head north! Early this evening we arrive in Jamestown, ND – home to the world’s largest buffalo monument and Frontier Village, making time for both stops. Get to know your fellow travelers during our evening welcome meal at a local favorite restaurant this evening. (D)

August 2 – Scandinavian Heritage Park, Minot, ND / Regina, Saskatchewan Later this morning we visit the Scandinavian Heritage Park in Minot, ND, where you will find a world of Scandinavian history like none other! Step inside a real Stabbur, explore their amazing full-scale replica Stave Church and walk around the 25-foot-tall Swedish Dala Horse! Continue across the United States / Canadian Border to Regina, Saskatchewan, where we’ll be overnight. (B)

August 3 – Edmonton, AlbertaToday, sit back and relax as we travel through the endless prairies of Saskatchewan towards Edmonton. Here, you have some free time to shop and dine at the West Edmonton Mall – North America’s largest shopping mall! (B)

August 4 – Jasper National ParkLater this morning you get your first glimpse at the stunning Canadian Rockies! We parallel the Athabasca River on the famed Yellowhead Highway on our way to the mountain town of Jasper, where you’ll have free time for lunch and exploring on your own. Later, get to know beautiful Jasper National Park on our sightseeing tour including a stop at must-see Athabasca Falls. This evening we enjoy a meal together at nearby Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge, located on the magnificent Icefields Parkway and our home for the next two nights. (B, D)

August 5 – Maligne Canyon & Maligne Lake CruiseToday features the “Best Boat Cruise in Canada” on our Maligne Lake Cruise! An experience like no other, cruise the glacial, crystal waters past jagged mountain peaks to Spirit Island, the world-famous destination only accessible by boat. We also make a stop at Maligne Canyon for a view of this incredible lookout – make sure to bring your cameras! Later today finds us once more in the town of Jasper, where you’ll have another opportunity to enjoy free time at your leisure before returning to back to our hotel. (B)

August 6 – Icefields Parkway / Columbia Icefield Adventure & Glacier SkywalkRanked as one of the world’s most spectacular drives, our morning drive is along the Icefields Parkway. Today, discover the power of nature on the Columbia Icefield Adventure – a must-do experience in the Canadian Rockies. At the heart of the incredible Icefields Parkway is one of the largest non-polar ice fields in the world. Here, you’ll travel on a massive Ice Explorer to a place where you can walk on, feel and drink from the Athabasca Glacier. Then, we take a jaw-dropping walk along the glass-floored Skywalk at the cliff’s edge! Continue along the Icefields Parkway to beautiful Banff, AB and our three-night stay. (B, L)

August 7 – Banff / Banff Sulphur Mountain GondolaA day full of sightseeing and activities in the Banff area awaits! We’ll ride the Banff Sulphur Mountain Gondola for sweeping views of six stunning mountain ranges atop the breathtaking summit. Enjoy more great photo opportunities on Tunnel Mountain Drive and the Bow River Valley. Lunch will be at the world-famous Banff Springs Hotel, otherwise known as the “Castle of the Rockies.” This evening, enjoy free time in explore Banff at your leisure. (B, L)

August 8 – Lake Louise Today features a day-trip to iconic Lake Louise, where it’s surrounding mountain peaks and glacial emerald waters will simply amaze. We’ll spend plenty of time here for you to take in its beauty and capture the perfect photo, as well as enjoy lunch at the elegant Chateau Lake Louise. (B, L)

August 9 – Calgary Tower / Fort Whoop-UpHead out of the mountains this morning on our way to Calgary, host city to the 1988 Winter Olympic Games where we enjoy panoramic views of the city atop the Calgary Tower Observation Deck! Continue to Lethbridge, Alberta to visit Fort Whoop-Up, a replica of an original fur trading fort built in the late 1800’s. Learn the stories of the buffalo robe, illegal whisky trade and the notorious characters! Later today, welcome back to the United States and end the day in Great Falls, MT, where we’ll all enjoy dinner together. (B, D)

August 10 – Medora Musical & FondueToday’s drive takes us through rural Montana to Medora, ND. Tonight features great food and entertainment at the Medora Musical. A North Dakota family tradition, the Medora Musical is performed outdoors live, under the Badlands sky in the 2,900-seat Burning Hills Amphitheater. The show is dedicated to President Theodore Roosevelt’s time in the Badlands and to the Spirit of the Old West! (B, D)

August 11 – Watertown, SDToday, travel across rugged North Dakota to Watertown, SD, our home for the evening, where we all come together to share stories and memories over our farewell dinner. (B, D)

August 12 – Return HomeSay goodbye to your Moostash Joe Tour Director, Driver and fellow travelers as you arrive back at your initial pick-up points early this afternoon and evening with memories of the spectacular beauty of The Canadian Rockies! (B)
