    Supreme Commander J. Eddie Tigner

    Hello PCS, Colonels and Jaycees!

What a great time we have planned for Gatlinburg! I hope you are making plans to attend. Also congratulations to the 2009 Tennessee Jaycee President Susan Sumner and her officers! We look forward in working with you in 2009. The Volunteer Corps has a long history of supporting the Jaycees and we plan on continuing that tradition this year. I want to make sure our Colonels are helping as needed.

The Volunteer Corps now has a website, go to www.TNJCVolunteerCorps.com

    See you in Gatlinburg!

    J. Eddie Tigner Supreme Commander

  • To all you colonels hope to see y’all in Gatlinburg and I hope the SC. Tigner had a

great Christmas and a great new year and the same for the PSC’s see you in the mountains

    *** VICE-COMMANDER OF RECRUITS *** Chip Wampler #934

Well it's hard to believe that Gatlinburg is just around the corner. Hope that everyone had a great Christmas & a Happy & Safe New Year. Looks,

as if we will have a fun filled Corps of Corps meeting in Gatlinburg.

I heard a rumor that Col. Tommy Thomas may have something interesting to tell us in Gatlinburg. Of course Col. Thomas is always doing something

interesting that he has to explain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now to some more serious business, If you have not been reading the MMM start reading it. (You can get it on line). The numbers in our

organization are dropping at an alarming rate. We can not survive at the rate we are going.

I am sure there are some of you reading this asking, where is Chip going with this. I think I can speak for the Supreme Commander, Past Supreme Commanders, Vice Commanders & Corp members, if we did not love this

organization we wouldn't still be active.

We as Corp members need to quit talking about helping & step up to the plate & start helping. There are some of the best Jaycee's with some of

the best talents in the Volunteer Corp. I am challenging each & everyone one to recruit a new member into this great family & take time to go out

and help a chapter do a project.

Let us be the affiliate group that steps up to the plate & gives that helping hand that is so much needed at this time. Let us be the affiliate group that

sets the fire to turn our family around.

Look forward to see everyone in Gatlinburg . Be safe & let’s have a great convention.

    In The Sprit of Orange,

    Col 934 Chip Wampler

It seems PSC Griffin was too busy doing that BBQ stuff he enjoys so much to send an article in to the newsletter!! I wonder if the other Cooking Colonels know how he acts

    when he isn’t with them.

That really makes me not want to eat any BBQ for a long long time!!

spreading the Volunteer Corp. spirit and have a Blessed month of February.

    ***TREASURER*** PAY UP SUCKERS!!!!!!

    Greetings fellow colonels,

This is to serve as a notice that there will no longer be any Corps dues!! There how ever will be a fee for saying hello to me from this point forward. Funny how that fee is the same price as the previous mentioned Corps dues! See you in Gatlinburg, I hope a few times!
