DID YOU KNOW? Disasters: Is your family prepared? Families may become separated during the chaos of a disaster, especially when evacuation is required. It is important to plan for your family’s safety. Develop and regularly practice emergency plans at home with all family members and designate a location where your family could gather in the event of separation. For more tips, visit: http://www.missingkids.com/Disasters.

PREPARING THE WAY OF THE LORD! Advent begins on Sunday, December 3rd.

Advent (from, "ad-venire" in Latin or "to come to") encompasses the four Sundays (and weekdays) leading up to the celebration f Christmas. Advent is a time of preparation that directs our hearts and minds to Christ’s second coming at the end of time and also to the anniversary of our Lord’s birth on Christmas. Be sure to take time out from the business of the holiday season to reflect on the promise of the baby born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago. Whether through Advent traditions, Scriptures or prayer, use this time to prepare the way of the Lord!
