Patrick Stack has been a presenter on FOX SPORTS News, Australia’s only 24-hour sports news channel, since 2010. Before joining FOX SPORTS, Patrick carved an impressive career in journalism for over a decade which included stints at the Australian Financial Review, Channel Seven and the ABC. While this work had him talking about politics, current affairs and general news, his real interest was in talking about sport so he set about what would provide him with the most rewarding and enjoyable career. Patrick joined Fox Sports News in 2010 and still can’t believe watching and writing about sport is classified as work. The son of West Australian parents (AFL fans), he was raised in a rugby league and rugby union state and he grew up playing football, cricket, tennis and golf – so he’ll watch pretty much anything involving a score line. Patrick attended Charles Sturt University and spent a year in Sweden on exchange. And what are his favourite sporting moments? Winning the Gladesville Hornsby FA All-Age Premiership, watching his beloved Swans win the 2012 flag, the 1999 Australian Cricket World Cup semi-final win over South Africa and the Socceroos victory over Uruguay.
