WORK EXPERIENCE

2013 - Present Documentation Cell Supervisor with in the Combined Maintenance and Upgrade facility (CMU) at RAF Marham. Working within a MIL part 145 environment, responsible for compiling the Certificate of Maintenance prior to flight test and delivery. Supervising a team of 7 Personnel to ensure all maintenance documentation is verified and complete

2009 - 2013 SNCO Tornado asset gateway (TAG) team leader. Providing life tracks and reference data updates to regain configuration of critical airworthiness components.

2008 - 2009 SNCO LITS support data cell, specialist team looking into rogue data and the reasons behind the lack of configuration control.

2007 - 2008 Junior Non Commissioned Officer (JNCO) Tornado Structures Maintenance Team Supervisor, Ensuring completion of in-depth maintenance activities in support of Operational requirements.

2003 - 2007 JNCO Tornado Depth Maintenance Supervisor carrying out maintenance tasks and associated duties on Hydraulic components.

1994 - 2003 Mechanic/Technician – Employed in a variety of engineering roles within the Royal Air Force. Including Depth Maintenance; Hydraulic/ Pneumatic Bay and Cryogenics specialist areas, supporting OOA Operations.

1990 - 1994 Mechanic, Tornado F3 flight line. Roles included Flight line maintenance and minor rectification.

Key Achievements

Created a workable system to regain configuration control of critical airworthiness assets for the Tornado fleet. This system was also used as an exemplar for multiple fleets.

IT literate in a number of aircraft management systems including Actuate, DMS, IEDB, LITS and Trilogy.

Very capable in the use of MS excel, word. Became a Private Pilot on Microlight aircraft. Only 3 days absence for illness in 26 years.
