PayPal Here is an elegant, simple, pocket-sized device that when teamed up with the AirPOS platform, provides retailers of all sizes a complete and affordable mobile point of sale solution. Before getting started you’ll need to download the AirPOS ePOS Application from the Google Play Store and the PayPal Application for Android Tablets from here: http://pphlabs.co.uk/apps/ 1. Pairing PayPal Here with AirPOS
To pair your PayPal Here card reader with your tablet using AirPOS, follow these steps:
1. Turn on Bluetooth on the Android tablet you’re running AirPOS on. 2. Go to your tablets "Settings" page and turn on Bluetooth. 3. You’ll see a list of available Bluetooth devices. 4. Then turn on the PayPal Here card reader. 5. A green light will blink followed by the Bluetooth light. This process may
take a few seconds. 6. Select the card reader from the list of available Bluetooth devices in
your tablet device Settings. If the PayPal Here card reader isn’t appearing;
• Hold down the SYNC button until the Bluetooth light is blinking quickly.
• Be sure the PayPal Here reader is charged

2. Processing Payments with PayPal Here on AirPOS As you can see, there's no complicated setup and it's easy for you and your customers to use. After you've installed AirPOS on Android, downloaded the free PayPal app from http://pphlabs.co.uk/apps/ & entered your PayPal credentials and connected it to your Android tablet via Bluetooth, that's it - you're ready to start accepting payments straight away.
1. In the settings page of the AirPOS ePOS, navigate your way to ‘Payments’ and ensure PayPal Here is selected as ‘Yes’
2. Add items to the transaction just as you would any other sale on AirPOS
3. When you have put through all the items, click ‘Tender’ on the AirPOS
ePOS
4. You will then see different tender options e.g. Cash, Card and PayPal should now appear
5. Click PayPal as the payment option

6. PayPal Here will open and it will tell you the tender total that is to be
charged. Click ‘Charge’
7. When the customer has inserted their card, you will be prompted to
confirm the total is correct. If so, click ‘OK’
8. The customer should then enter their pin and when finished, you’ll get a notification on screen letting you know if the payment has succeeded / failed

9. A Payment Complete notification will then appear, simply click ‘Done’
10. AirPOS will then open again at the transaction complete phase and from here you can send an email receipt, print to a standard receipt printer or start a new sale
