The Hunter
The path there stood quite black I heard the ducks quack. Like the shadow had its control And I being a bit like troll.
I did try to turn back
Picking up my fallen sack
But I don’t know what struck me
I twitched my eyes just to see
I tried to go forward
But my mind turned backward
Reminiscing about the sorrow I Had
I struggled not be so sad.
.
I was left with the question
If I should eat the last piece of my melon.
For I was horrible hungry
And the ducks had just finished their mockery.
However,
The duck will mock
The silence will talk
And the time will stop
But I’ve got to walk
I’ve got to walk….
